@MaxED: There is a reason not to put hinges on the door textures: the same texture is used front & back on the doors. If you have a hinge on the wrong side when a door opens it looks stupid, but if you have no hinge it is acceptable.
All hinges are on proper sides (yep, I usually check stuff ingame before posting it here).

Also, did you verify the location of the door handles on the models for your lock plates? ... if you are going to do that you need to be precise.
Yes.

IMHO the lock plates should match the color of the handles.
I'll return to that after I make texture replacements for handles.

Can the keyholes be peaked through? IIRC in the OM textures they can and if yours can't some might consider that a degradation.
You can peek through keyholes in T2?.. :wot:

No...You can't peek through keyholes in T2.
So Max, I take it you're going to finish half of this project yourself...;)

Probably (but I hope more people will join the effort)... Or I'll just get bored in the process and will switch to something entirely different :)

You can if the keyhole is using a transparency color and the door is not set to block vision. Purposely making a door with a keyhole similar to the barred door concept would be better.

Wish I could help more, I used to make new textures at about the same speed as you back when I was working on my solo pack* but I'm too bogged down with other work right now. :(
*Which the majority of the textures in this project were taken from before you Joined Us
Anyway, you've been doing some truly drool-worthy work lately, leagues better than some of the first things you posted. I personally can't really think of anything to criticize about on the latest bunch of replacements, so I'd say we're in safe hands. :thumb:
Hey, y'know, not that I want to heap even more work on your plate, but... actually, yes, I do. :ebil: Could you check out the roof textures in City, especially the one called "roof?" I've never been able to make that one look good without straying too much from the original. Maybe you'll figure it out better.

I hope Gecko will add those textures in his project
That's what I asked myself, too. If they exist also in a higher resolution they should cover all T1[G] texture families like church, temple etc.

Is this concept used anywhere in TDP\TG\T2?

You missed my point. A hinge plate should only be seen on the inner side of a door, not on the outer side. The outer side has no hinge plate. So to use those textures, you need to create a versions with no hinge plate as well and then modify all the models to use two textures, one side having the hinge plate and the other not. And then have two models, a left opening model and a right opening model. Of course that's not practical. Better to take the hinge plates off.

I thought so ... maybe it was just leaning through the doors that you can do. I don't remember for certain.

Right, you can make them, but they weren't there originally...This controversial subject has been talked about before...(
