Can't find the Shipping Label!

I only have 2 documents on me and that's some scroll and a papyrus, but no shipping label. I'd already gone through room 7732 and when I went to Room 7933 to put the label on the crate nothing happened.

Do we carry it with us if we have it or does it just pop on the crate by itself? Thanks

First, you go to 7732 and grab the label:

Second, you select int in your inventory use in on a placeholder on the crate same way as you use a key:

In general, please do try to at least mention which game you are talking about, and try to state the level or area you are in. Though of course anyone who knows the answer to your question can probably figure it out, those that don't would be completely bewildered.

I'm sorry yes, I'm playing Thief 2, and I'm referring to Chapter 2, Shipping and Receiving.

DJ Riff, as I mentioned, I already went to that room 7732 and I am not carrying any labels. I've gone back to the room 7732 and rechecked and there's no shipping label on that desk or on me.

I just went back to one of my first saves, and entered 7732 for the first time. There was a letter on the desk, and the lamp and there was no shipping label.

Is there something maybe that I should have done to trigger that label to be on the desk? Or maybe a conversation?

I do not have it in my inventory for sure.

If you're still playing in Normal difficulty, that may have something to do with it.

Edit:

Yeah, the Thief wiki says it's not an objective on Normal and that the shipping labels have been removed.

Most walkthroughs are for Expert Difficulty only, so there will be significant differences, including occasional game-breakers, so either switch to Expert or stop using Expert walkthroughs. There are missions coming up that will be too challenging if you don't, and you will need to learn the rules of the game that it's trying to teach you, or you will get stuck again and again. Items are moved around, removed, added, areas are inaccessible, objectives are changed and related portions are revised, depending on the mission. Conversations and readables are changed in a couple of missions, affecting how you will have to go about completing objectives.

well, I realize now that most walkthroughs are for expert or hard, both of which I have played before. I chose to play on normal this time for a more relaxing experience.
