How much did you tweak that setting?
I pushed it up by at least 1 (eg. 0.2 became 1.2), i just kept pushing until i could see comfortably.

I tried .2 to .9 Only, seemed to help a very small amount. Made everything else in the mission glow almost. Dark places were still very dark. I've tried several different drivers. None really seem to be the problem. I have played this game with in the last year, and it worked fine....same computor and same monitor. So far, this is the only FM, that has this problem. I've played a couple of other FM's, since i first posted. I have to run the gamma in the middle of the scale, with the other FM's, with the cam.cfg, returned to normal. Very confusing...Have no idea why. I'm going to try and download the mission seperately. I have the mission pack. but i know it has worked before. Anyone, have any ideas.
