I'm in Germany (not a german, just for info) and was wondering is there a way to order a cape like Garrett's or similar? Something like a site for costume design or something... I dunno.
Yeap, I'm dead serious about that.

You should make one, it will be easier than finding one probably, and more rewarding. I'm speaking from experience after me and my friends and brothers made our own costumes for the medieval festival. Good thing my friend is a fashion designer though, cause we had to be shown how to sew everything.

Another option is you can probably locate a "medieval costume shop", you probably have one somewhere near you, at least in the nearest capital city. But clothes from those places are very very expensive.
Cape with cowel goes for $300 AU in the one where I live.

Just get a hoodie. You'll look equally ridiculous in it.

In the Jelling Dragon online re-enactment store you can buy battle ready weapons, costume accessories, living history supplies and museum replicas from Viking and early Medieval times.

Heh, I just conned my mom into making my cloak. Unfortunately, they didn't have enough material at the time to get both inside and outside black, so I had to go with red. Man, the day school had Halloween Day or wtfever it was, I think I was the 2nd baddest mofo there, next to the dude who came in wearing full chainmail, now that was badass. :thumb:

One of the greatest myths about hoods is that they could hide your face, offer good sight and look cool at the same time. You're lucky if you get two out of three.
