Actually, you can replace the keyboard now with iOS8. And you can copy music and files to and from a computer, now that iCloud is starting to be worth a quarter of a damn. Plus, just about every app worth their salt has Dropbox support these days, so it's pie to work on a file on your iPad, then send it over to your computer to finish it up.
I hear you can also adblock using some apps, too. I haven't tried it myself yet, so I can't comment.
Though the rest is true. Siri lets you automate some tasks, and there are a few apps that add some features here and there, but they don't compare to what you get by default with Android and Google Now, or WP8 and Cortana.

Took all that into consideration, and went with a Windows phone. The catch for me is that I don't really use app downloads very much with the exception of a couple big name apps(like duolingo) that function identically on every platform. After looking at and playing with the various options available the windows phones stood out because they have the exact features that I need: native support for MS Office suit(I've had translation errors with none MS programs before) and a high tier digital assistant.
I went with a cheap phone(Lumia 635) but it works very well. Plus, with me heading back to B-school I need to pare down my expenses as much as possible in the coming months.

Not bad so far. The ability to quickly set an alarm or appointment via voice command is a nice touch, and the native MS Office integration came in handy today as I was able to review a group project while running around between appointments today.
