This is an attempt to restart the second version of Chain Project 2. I may have picked a bad time for it, as many people are busy on their own projects and my map is rather laughable. But here it is: (

Oh, and everything I've made, and others will add, can be modified by others. Do make sure to tell what you changed though!

This one is broken as well. A bunch of randomly set brushes, it isn't even textured.
Is this a joke or something?

Weird, it was working fine here. Anyway putting up a newer version of that mission now.
Oh, and it is not Darkloader or FMSel ready, it has to be opened in Dromed.
It's for Thief: Gold by the way. That could explain the lack of textures on your end.
Updated the link.

Some more info would be nice. I guess the mission will go from author to author? And will there be some kind of queue system,
like in the first? And how long should each author be allowed to work on his/her part?
And what about objectives? Is all that done by one person in the end or what?
Sound find anyway.

I'll explain the idea. This is not going to be a queue based contribution like the first Chain Project, rather, this is an "open source fan mission" so to speak. Anyone can edit or add to the fan mission posted here, and then post their version which will be open for editing. This can also mean that different branches of the same mission can come up, like say nicked putting up his version, Yandros putting up another, Drk (haha, I wish!) putting up yet another version. The version the authors have placed here can be furthered modified by them to make a non open source mission to which they have full rights, AKA a normal fan mission. I think the objectives can follow a similar path.
Of course, if this or any further branches are used for a non open source mission, credit must be given to all the authors involved.

... then someone merge all authors versions to a single fm? Sorry, but it sounds troublesome to me.
I liked the first idea better. But i follow the thread and see how it evolves. :thumb:
