My website was frozen by the host ((
http://www.ipage.com) iPage) because too many downloads were occurring on certain Thief-related files. TafferPatcher was the biggie. And since folks from all over the planet have been downloading this and other Thief files, their "security team" became involved. I'm still waiting to hear from them. (The NSA and CIA probably have their supercomputers checking the code. :p)
Bottom Line: I've had to delete TafferPatcher and a couple of other large files from the Thief side. Also, since my new FM is due for release here in about a week, I'll probably have to lean on Cheap Missions, Southquarter, etc for the first month before allowing D/L from ricebug.org.
Such is the way of things. I do apologize.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. It's too bad that strong international interest is considered a security risk these days.
Let's just hope they don't read about gas mines and Sunburst Devices and get the wrong idea! :cheeky:

I noticed it, as I was looking up a Love Story 4 mission.
That's bad for you, but the Taffer Patcher can be gotten from another site, isn't it?!!
I can't remember just now.
I hope your site will be up soon, because I'm a great Fan and a BIG user :thumb:

The site was only down overnight. It's back up now. Thinking about building my own file server.

Update your links:
(http://www.ricebug.org/index-page.html) I put this out a few months back, and nickie even updated them on the forum.
iPage doesn't want massive downloads of large files. I can only do that if I sign up for their business package ($75 a-month). What a deal!

I just signed with a commercial hosting service that offers unlimited bandwidth, 40GB storage, numerous bells & whistles, at half the price of iPage. It will take 5 days for the domain to transfer to the new host.
Hopefully, this will solve the problem.

I noticed it when I went looking for a walkthrough. Had a panic attack! Glad to hear you're going with someone else. Love your site.
