Hi everyone!
Having got bored, re-installed Thief 2, completed it, Thief 2X, completed it, and finally Thief 3 again, and completed it, I've finally managed to re-install Thief The Dark Project (I cant find my copy of Gold), after getting a patch to let it run in XP.
Well does anyone know if a trainer of any sort was developed that would allow for unlimited items and ammo, (or invinciblity if I cant have unlimited potions, heh)
Before anyone says anything, I know I shouldnt need cheats and it spoils the experience etc etc, but I want some cheats so I can play through the first game as I barely remember it, but without the hassle of running out of arrows or being killed and having to reload saved games over and over (Etc)
But can anyone help me? I'd still be stealthy and the such, I just want to play it with cheats.
Please no snide comments.
Any help much appreciated :)

You can add the following line to your USER.CFG so you can buy out the store.
cash_bonus 5000
If you want imortality you could play through DromEd. Add the following to USER.CFG
no_endgame
There is also the thief save editor that alters the stack count of your inventory.

You could always play TDS. Little risk of running out of arrows there.

Heh If you do a google search, there's also a funky little program that lets your invisibility potions last indefinitely. While its a 'trial' program, the registration was free. Although, when I tried to register, I never got any reply, therefore the program was useless. :P But, for a time it was fun to gallop around missions totally invisible, making as much noise as I liked while I whisked under the guards noses.
. . .
Ok, so I didn't play the *entire* game like that! But a good portion of it. lol And only after I'd played through 8 times on expert without any sort of cheat. It was fun for the sake of novelty.

Just dig through the USER.cfg file and you'll see a couple of interesting things you can change.
But if you learn a little dromed, that's when the serious cheating can begin. Then you can modify a mission to do all sorts of wicked things your imagination can come up with.

Tough noogies.
You're basically declaring that you want to Rambo your way through Thief, which entirely defeats the purpose of the game. Playing Thief without fear, without having to think and plan, is not playing Thief at all. It's like going into a Doom forum and asking if there's a code to get rid of all those annoying monsters.

But there are such codes in Doom. I think you're trying to confuse people. Also, I doubt you are scared by Thief (or any game that matter) when you're so negative.

What?
When I played Thief Gold the first few times around I had a trainer (which stopped working a long time ago).
Cheating I know, but everything that's been mentioned here (Cragscleft, the Cathedral, the Bonehoard, the haunts and zombies, etc) still scared the living shit out of me.
Thief's atmosphere affected me despite cheats.
