I must say, I was somewhat put off by the 'mature' language, and the nudity. Having said that, I did enjoy the mission, and missions with plenty of readables always get a thumbs up from me :thumb: .
Only criticisms are prolley the overabundance of keys, somewhat spartan architecture in points, and the aforementioned language. Nice concept for a mission though! Made me feel less guilty for some of my more... violent outbursts :cheeky:
Well...yeah, I was shocked, too. But I also thought it was quite a bold move. I found it hilarious that the creator used word "faggot" (a current gay slur) in time/atmosphere where faggot where "faggot" just means "twig" or "stick" :weird: (do I talk too much???). A bit raunchy at times but bold nonetheless.

A content warning was certainly justified in this case . Personally , I really enjoyed this mission . The exploring was lots of fun and the language fit well with the plot . Actually , I found this mission has the most convincing criminals yet .

I just loaded it and have no objectives either. playing on 3rd choice of interesting.
edit: found that when i changed difficulty levels, even though they are all called the same thing that i got 3 objectives...so i will try that....but others are mentioning 6? so i am wondering if that means more come as i progress?
small complaint....why no compass? i use that so heavily to switch out of my inventory. ah well, guess when i can make a game myself, and spend tons of time on one, and give it out for free, then i might have more room to bitch! ;)

I started with
3 and when the 2nd objective ticked off I got another one. I'm assuming new objectives appear as I go along
No objectives here either. Playing on what would normally be expert and about $400 short on loot. Every time I click on a book and briefly get the "new objective" flash, I crash to desktop. Can someone just post what the 6 objectives are so I know I have completed that portion? Thanks. :)

joanieS, I kind of assumed there was no difference between the levels but I have
Get inside the place

Find and steal 3000 in loot
Make Salvador the Diceman's name shorter by stealing his golden dice.

Hint for when you want to finish
When looking for the info about the building, look at the books in the earlier rooms
Funny how many players have problems with the objectives but others don't. Out of curiosity, those of you who do have blank objectives can you check that your "goals.str" file is in the correct folder? The "goals.str" file of that mission should be inside a folder named "miss29" and in turn that folder should be inside the "intrface" file of your T2 directory.
In fact, i saw in my T2 directory that this mission also installed an "intrface" folder within the "intrface" folder of T2 which wasn't needed but didn't/shouldn't cause any problems whatsoever (at least i didn't have any).

Number of Objectives: I started the game by choosing the difficulty with 4 objectives. The other 2 settings had no objectives, so i skipped them. Later in the game 2 new objectives appeared.

**peeks out from the rock im living under** so are the objectives showing up for anyone? I'm still not far from the beginning do they appear later or something?
I have just over an hour saved game on this one and no objectives are showing up on "Expert". I read in this forum about making sure the files are in the right place. The zip file should automatically take care of that.
I picked up some dice, but no objective checked off. Also, at least 3 books with "new objective" showing up ends the game.
Makes me wonder if this FM was ever beta tested. I wonder if the nude centerforld pic is copyrighted or not either.

I suspect the problem here is an inexperienced Dromeder and no betatesting, to speak of. If you read the Darkloader screen, it says there are no difficulty levels but the slots are still there. There is no Hard or Expert but they haven't been dealt with properly, so it you select "Impossible" in one of the places where "Hard" or "Expert" would normally be, you don't get objectives.. You have click on the spot that would be "Normal" on other FMs to get the objectives.
I was very disappointed with the coarse nature of the readables, pictures, etc. While I understand that he was probably trying to convey a realistic setting for the mission's story, I don't think it was necessary to go to these lengths and it spoiled to some extent what was otherwise, a fairly enjoyable FM for me. At the very least, a warning of X-rated contents should be prominently displayed on the Darkloader screen and at best, IMHO, the storyline and pictures should have been made more palatable for the general public who don't like to read and see things like that while playing FMs.
