EvaUnit02 provokes!
Zygoptera rolls for willpower! Success!
Zygoptera provokes!
EvaUnit02 falls it's willpower roll.
I won't even start on Steam since you'd need to be valvehead to not notice what a sad joke it is by now. But hey, you get a community with it, right?

Yeah, I'll go with the internet activation DRM solution that doesn't give publishers the opportunity to anally rape their customers, thanks.
:picard: :headdesk:
Valve can stop you playing any of the games you've bought through Steam, at pretty much any time,
if the fancy struck them, and you wouldn't have the slightest recourse.

I'm really worried now because this seems like a very probable scenario! People playing the games they've bought is just bad for business, you know.
But personally I have faith in the hacking community. There isn't a problem too insignificant to incite the ire of thousands of highly skilled programmers with nothing better to do.

I just hadn't touched FO1 in 10 years so I couldn't compare them back to back.
I seeeee...
Well, after you'll be through F1 for about 10 times, after you'll know the game inside out, and after you'll try F2 ... then I'll start considering seriously what you say about the similarities.
You cheesy soundtrack!

Aside from the fact that such a thing would be very bad for business (but don't let logic get in the way of your paranoia) Valve's track record means that such a thing would be delayed indefinitely.

What do you mean
avoid?I would like to think that I don't succumb to any of the TTLG peccadilloes mentioned. But slag off Rogue Trooper in front of me and you are in trouble, boys and girls.

Besides a class action lawsuit, which IMHO would have a decent shot at succeeding.

As improbable scenario as it is, he's right. Valve has no obligation to keep the servers running. No servers no Steam.

Once you've played Fallout 3 in its entirey 10 times, then I'll give a shit about your opinion.
And no, I'm not serious, but that's how ridiculous your post sounds.
