"play in offline mode"?
Rogue Keeper on 23/4/2009 at 12:11
No it doesn't. It suggests that I know the essence and nature of Fallout games better than you. BOO.

It still needs to validate from the servers on occasion, so Offline Mode is not a panacea.

Oh please, I don't think Valve will run around randomly switching people's accounts off for shits and giggles and they aren't going to shut the servers down anytime soon. EvaUnit simply stated that SecuROM could do that (which it
can't) so I pointed out that Steam
can.

Yeah, I'll go with the internet activation DRM solution that doesn't give publishers the opportunity to anally rape their customers, thanks.

No you don't, it just means you're boring and like replaying the same short-ass game over and over. FO1 is great, but I wouldn't be surprised if I went another 10 years without playing it again, there isn't really that much to do/explore/see/experience. I've completed every available main and subquest aside from the final 2 tasks for Vault 13, and I'm like, level 12. Which isn't a big deal since the game stopped being challenging around level 3, but still, I've put in like 8 hours and I'm at the end of the game. I could replay it again before the weekend but I'd rather do something else, really (like start FO2 and see why the hardcore NMA folks hate it so much).
BTW, does anyone know if there's a tool that would allow me to replace the soundtrack with the Aphex Twin shit he plagiarized and some stuff from the FO3 soundtrack? K/THX/BYE.

If it means anything, you're still my favorite poster among the TTLG folk whose gender I constantly forget.
Rogue Keeper on 23/4/2009 at 12:32
Originally I was a boy, but you know that once you dip subject into FEV, it looses it's typical gender traits.
Also, travel more alone with just basic firearms and I'll show you some challenge.

Well, I did shady sands alone with a pistol, junktown with an uzi while Tycho had a shotgun (well, and Dogmeat, but he's basically useless - he ended up dying in the cathedral and I couldn't be arsed to reload), but by the time I finished the hub Tycho had almost every small gun in the game and I was sporting an assault rifle and a sniper rifle, which is a pretty lethal combination (I was expecting to need some energy or big guns by the end, really).
