On the other side, it will make Thief more natural.
I don't think so, it wouldn't be Thief anymore :nono:

Not a good idea - it will offend someone. :tsktsk:
Offending people is a bad thing now? :erm:

I don't like this thread to be turned into an argue between atheists and christians. I don't want to offend people and to be hated because of an idea. There are a lot of people that won't like a christian mission and find it offensive, so I won't make it. And I don't want insulting posts to other members in the community in my threads. So- no christian mission. That's all.

Will you still do the mission, but with a Hammerite theme?
Bulgarian_Taffer on 4/3/2006 at 22:20
Well, I have almost some small fms... and all fms have churches! maybe it's time to start something different.

Whoever said Christianity was natural?
Wouldn't it be fairly easy to convert a church into something else? Not a catherdral (too small), but maybe a chapel?
Bulgarian_Taffer on 4/3/2006 at 22:32
Oh, I have a problem.
I'm orthodoxal and bulgarian churches are different than these in Thief ... These in Thief should be cathedrals.
I think that cathedrals are Catholic churches, not orthodoxal.
I hope that R Soul and other people living in U.K. will explain to me how English churches look. I think that English church is neither orthodoxal nor catholic.
Am I right?

When you say "English church" you'll have to be more specific. We're such incorrigible liberals here that we have pretty much every kind of denomination worshipping in this country.
Are you referring to Anglican churches (ie Church of England)? If so, then (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liverpool_Cathedral) this is the largest of its kind in the world, and by happy coincidence, the one that I am most personally familiar with.
Bulgarian_Taffer on 4/3/2006 at 22:52
Yeah, I was reffering to the Anglican church. That cathedral looks great!
I have checked my churches in my dromed buildings and I saw that some of them were bulgarized. For example, the alignment of the pews.
Bulgarian churches are very interesting. As some of you may know, Bulgaria has been 5 centuries under the influence of the Turkish empire. Turkey is a muslim country, so bulgarian people were not allowed to have huge buildings, especially churches. Most of old bulgarian churches are built-in in the ground ( can't find a better word ), and after the Liberation the new bell towers were built some distance from the church.
