Okay, so we as gamers are a pretty experienced lot. The things we've done in these virtual worlds afforded us span the entire gamut - from acts selflessly heroic to horrifically vile, often within a couple of minutes.
We talk about the things we've done in them quite often. We boast, we embellish, we brag, we get that fiery glint in our eyes when we remember our stand-offs and last stands past, the time we inched by on a sliver of health and crisped that final wave of enemies with a single well-aimed rocket into their midst. We've seen a million game over screens, and a million more that say 'YOU WIN', one way or the other.
What we don't have, however, is a thread chronicling our myriad exploits. You know those camp-outs where friends and family gather around a fire and start spinning whole manners of yarn? I'm inviting everybody to one.
Spin your yarns. Tell your tales. Let everyone know about That Time When You Did This Really Cool Thing. Or the time you laid the goddamn smack down upon anyone and anything that so much as looked at you funny. Discuss strategies and tactics. Apart from contradicting everyone else's opinions, let's really talk.

Okay I'll bite.
Hope you don't mind multiplayer fuckery.
My max number of kills in one life as a sniper in TF2 is 12. Why? One day I was fucking around on 2fort, I shoot a couple guys then I see this demoman on the opposite battlements, trying to use stickybombs to launch himself in the air. Except he kept fucking it up, and instead of going across, he went straight up. He'd run back to the spawn room to heal, and then the cycle would repeat. I quickly set up my microphone and turned it on (I keep VOIP off because I don't need to listen to dickbags screaming at their moms to bring more cookies), and I started timing the guy's detonations. Just before he'd detonate I'd yell "PULL!" and shoot him out of the sky. (To the amusement of everyone else on the server, both teams.) I did this five times before he screamed "you fucking hacker" and switches to sniper. Except he's a shitty, predictable sniper and his head was popped 5 times before he left the server, screaming and cursing.

Of course I wouldn't mind. Multiplayer experiences are legion, and easily contain some of the more engrossing gaming stories rife with excitement and intrigue, like the time I discovered this furry MMOG... oh wait, y'all probably don't want to hear about that one.
But skeet shooting demomen? Brilliant! I'll add some of my own experiences later when it's not 2 in the morning and I can type a smidge more coherently.

You very nearly annoyed me by starting your thread with "Okay, so". This has become quite the pet peve with me lately. Specifically when a thread has a title such as "Does anyone else think that...." imdb is rife with them and no amount of intrigue will make me read them, pure spite. Or just threads with the content beginning with "so, ".
Maybe I need to get off the internet for a while :o
In Chrome TDM people were chanting my name in global chat because I was owning the other guys pretty hard. I've never really owned in any other game quite like I used to in Chrome.
Anyway, getting back OT. I once got 16 kills in a one man "Tower of Death" in Planetside. I was so full of myself, thought I'd become elite or something until I died loads later.
Also in Planetside, I led the NC in a continent. Not all of them mind you since I wasn't a Command Rank 5. But I managed to convince enough to follow me to make diversionary attacks on a secondary base to pull defence from the main target. I can't remember a whole lot, but afterwards my Outfit was praised for the assist, even though I was the only one online at the time.:D
In Wolfenstien:ET I got kicked a few times for using an aimbot (never have)
In America's Army I used to be pretty damn good with a sniper rifle, but only in the Bridge map, on all others I sucked hard with any weapon. (got kicked once or twice for aimbot here too)
I got free gold in Lineage II by pretending to be a girl. (only played it once though and didn't really get to enjoy the gold)
In Operation Flashpoint.
In Eve Online I killed an Astarte with a Curse. (ok, it was on the test server, but in my book it still counts :p )
That seems to be it. These days I really don't have the patience to play FPS the way I used to. 8 hour sessions of Planetside are a thing of the past. And as I try to recall these digital glories, I'm struck with how hard it actually is to think of times when I was great. Maybe I suck at games now :(
