Well I was wondering what sort of Holidays people in The City have, like Christmas etc. I know the Hammers and Pagans have their own festivals like St. Edgar's day, but what about the other people, like peasants etc.
Hope some of you taffers can help me out.
P.S By the way I'm not a newb to the game; I've had all the games for quite a while, but I've only just discovered the wonders of TTLG forums. So be nice!
:D

Did you know that the Pagans celebrate
Undead Tomatoe day?

"Normally, tomatoes are not buried in the soil.
But they will eventually come out." - excerpt from a speech by a pagan mystic, who ate an undead tomato

Well, per some letters in T2, they do celebrate things like solstices and whatnot.

If I remember right, they name one in T2 Trail of Blood at the pumpkin patch in the village. Perhaps they clebrate the Great Pumpkin too?

A Harvest of some kind surely.

Well the Pagans do have The Gathering Place - the most boring name ever :p
Is that the best they could do? These people who worship the Woodsie Lord and get along just fine with Apebeasts, Treebeasts etc... and they couldn't even come up with a decent name :nono:
But the Pagans don't live in the City so they don't count.
There could be something in the middle of winter to thank the Builder for giving them the skill and craftsmanship to make things that keep them warm, provide them with somewhere to live etc.
In spring there could be something to thank the Woodsie Lord for giving them food again.
Of course people would have to be careful about the latter, with Pagans being frowned upon in the City.

Yeah good ideas. Keep it up!

Yes R Soul, that makes a lot of sense. Surely the Builder would be thanked at the end of Summer for the invention of the agricultural machinery that the City would need to feed it.
