See, I've got a broadband connection (cable) and 3 PCs running on the net so I have no problem hosting a game.
The problem is that I can only transfer a certain amount per month... 7 gigs.
If I got over my 7 gig limit my broadband is reduced in speed to 64k and it's annoying.
Occasionally I run a Jedi Knight II server and about a week ago I used over 1 gig of my monthly transfer in 12 hours.
The server was full all day and running great but still.
I won't be hosting any game servers for a little while. :p

Wait, you say about a week ago? About a week ago was December.....
How much BW does a Thievery server take up anyway? Does anyone know?

*Mr. K. pops out of Thievery to report in*
Mr. K. reporting in. I'm going back to Thievery to show the Larcenian pride and style and to bash all bunnies and other rodents my arm can reach (and some others even further beyond).
(As to set up a Thievery server, i'd say you can host 6 people with a computer @500 Mhz and 128 MB ram, with a connection that allows 64 Kb upload (Cable/ADSL usually does enough). The most important thing for a server is usually the upload speed.
I hope to see more bretheren online soon!

You do realize that you can customize what timezone the forums times are displayed in for you.
Don't matter what timezone you live in you can set the forums to that.
Just go into your User CP and click on Edit Options... it's near the bottom.
