Seriously, using the right hand on the arrow keys for looking around and "x" for walk. For the bow I used delete and pagedown to look up and down. When you play with the keyboard, you aren't going to find yourself in too many fights. It's more for creeping through the game I suppose. It can easily be done, and can be very fun.
Keep in mind, this was nine years ago, and gaming in general at that time was still in the "old age". In fact, these particular games and others mark the decided end of an era. Kind of sad really. All this talk lately of Dark Project is bringing a tear to my eye.

Oh wow so painfully unnecessary. So much easier with the mouse. I can't imagine playing using the keyboard only.

woweezowee!......That really freaks me out,too....not playing with the mouse as your eyes..and just coping with the direction keys...thats unreal!.....you deserve a medal...!

I should tell you that I have *never* played a first person shooter, though I am aware of the general style of play. I play rpg's strictly. Mouselook isn't that crucial in the old rpg's. Just a slower overall style of play, I guess. After years of that, I transfered the style right into Dark Project. It actually seemed rather natural. However; once I figured out the mouselook I never looked back, so... In fact, I think I saw my younger brother doing it, and I tried it.
