This has probably been said before I remember there used to be a movie cast suggestion thread, but yea, I'm watching Shoot 'Em Up with my brother and I am reminded how much I like Clive Owen. I think he'd be perfect for the role if they ever did a movie. Though, if it was in charge of the movie it'd actually probably be animated in much the same style as the cutscenes only with much higher production values, using the same voice actors.

Interesting choice, yes.
Ladies?

I'm no lady, but that choice certainly does sound better than Toby Maguire!
If you want to see more stuff made in a similar fashion to the original cutscenes, look no further than (
http://www.rustmonkey.com/) Rustmonkey. It's a 2D/3D effects company started up by Daniel Thron after LGS closed. It looks like they had a bid in A Scanner Darkly (looked friggin amazing), so they can be pretty serious about making feature-length movies.

Not this one! I dunno, there's something more Bondish than Garretish about him. I know the face though but don't know why.

Clive Owen would be good but I think Christian Bale has more of the acting prowess needed for the role (or maybe I'm a bit biased because I think he's one of the best male actors around).

Oh lord no. Clive Owen is one of the most wooden A-list actors working in Hollywood today. Witness the first half-hour of that terrible film, Derailed, for proof. Casino Royale would've been a total disaster with him as the lead.

RustMonkey's work on Deadly Shadows was horrible. Whatever magic they had back when they did the Dark Project scenes, is gone.

I hope you're not referring to the "3D cutscenes."

I'm talking about the drear animated scenes ... e.g. Garrett's trial or anything having to do with Gamall. The pre-rendered in-engine scenes were almost good in comparison.
The intro scenes to the Keepers, Pagans, and Hammers were good. The into was weak, but fine. Everything after that was miserable.
