Ah, gotcha. All fixed, thanks.

Well, I downloaded Wynde's saved games, but unfortunately Thief keeps saying they are corrupted files, and won't load them. I downloaded some other ones (earlier version?), and while they work sound doesn't exist in the game anymore (and Thief is really a game which benefits from sound).
that's MrWynd :D weird that the files dont work for you :(

Oops, thanks for the correction. I didn't need them anyway (I was afraid my install of thief had gone manky on me, and I was going to have to get around that door problem), but I'm surprised they didn't work.
Perhaps I didn't read the instructions properly. Or at all.

Yeah, let's not use fapomatic for image hosting in future, okay?

No problem. I'll take the pics down, now that the guy's problem has been dealt with, anyway.
Apologies to all for any offence caused. Is there a preferred image host that people around here use?
Cardel on 9/11/2006 at 20:05
imageshack.us is generally a pretty safe image uploading site.

Thanks, Cardel. But, after considering this matter some more, I definitely won't be using another one of those free image-hosting providers.
Given the child-friendly nature of the forum, all it could take to get this place shut down would be one inappropriate pop-up/banner, which my ad-blocking software might prevent me from seeing.
If another post comes up where a visual solution seems more effective, I'll likely just host the pics on one of my own servers (guaranteeing no pop-ups) and PM one of the Mods to get their permission, before posting.
