I just finished the widow's mansion level (I'm playing through the game again), and I still have an objective that remains unchecked: "Search around the Keeper Library for clues about the Dark Age." I think it's been there awhile.
I've read every blasted book and paper in that place, and it won't go away. I've been [SPOILER]to the secret room at the top [/SPOILER]twice (once past Caduca, and again past Gamall). I don't remember this happening before with that objective.
Am I losing my mind or have I encountered a theify-bug?

I went back to the [SPOILER]Docks[/SPOILER] and tried to enter [SPOILER]the Sunken Citadel[/SPOILER], but it won't let me. The objective that I mentioned above is still unchecked, so I assume that's why I can't continue?

Yep, you need to check off that objective.
If you've got the Compedium of Reproach, then obviously you overheard the Scribe's conversation with the Elder in the Keeper library.
The book you have to read is located on the second floor. From the entrance of the Stonemarket Keeper Library, go to the elevator. Once at the second floor, go right and take the right around the circle. The book you come to should give you the information you need.
