I Think that the collector towers "collect" the energy that the streetlamps drop form their, err..., green gas think or something to make them work, this is what i think, do not forget that there has to be a collector tower )or energy power station) near the places where there are street lamps. :erg:

Hmmm... Not sure what you mean. There are towers nowhere near streetlamps, including the one above. :)

Curiously, too, the Lunar Pool works on a Moonless night, and without
the telescope's focus of the Moon's rays into the Pool, and it seems contrary to have a Collector Tower above the opened observatory roof.
Well, just FYI, a telescope does not focus light (well, only inside the telescope). It only increases the observers angle of view. ;)

It focuses the light coming in, into the viewer's eye. Big lens to wee lens.

So, maybe the lunar pool actually gains it's unique abilities through left over energy spilling into it from the collector. It seems a bit useless for powering the electronics in the area as they are run by a generator in the basement.

What's weird, too, is that...unless there is a precipitation of charged particles that can fill the room below, the view of the Tower from the pool (below the gold plaque on the far wall), is blocked. Either Randy threw these things together as mostly set dressing, or he made some decisions from inside knowledge of some things.

Hmmm. Interesting find, and some interesting ideas, jtr7.
Well, you know that I'm going to basically suggest that the Lunar Pool layout in the top of the tower is basically channeling Borning/Light - or whatever strata of magic it is that the Hammerites use to smite the Undead (Positive Energy Clerics, if it comes to that...)
Perhaps the proximity of the collector tower influences it. Who knows?
