Part 3 has been edited and submitted...so the three of you who are interested, it will hopefully be up soon.;)
The release schedule for the remaining segments should be more regular; I got a little behind on a lot of things, and haven't been able to do as much last-minute review as I would like.
I also changed the name of the thread...novel isn't quite on its way anymore...

Just finished reading both days.
It's pretty much the first fan novel i've read and i liked it very much. It's certainly detailed enough for me and enough words that i don't understand :D (my english is bad).
Heh, i'm looking forward to day 3!
Edit: It also helped me look deeper into Thief universe from diffrent aspects.

Now, why do I have the feeling that I missed something completely...
Thanks for letting us know about the upcoming part 3, greypatch.

Thanks for hosting it, pavlovscat!
It's really an entertaining chapter, greypatch. Your style somehow reminds me of Pratchett (but that could be because Pratchett is more or less the only comedy reading I did in English ;)). The way it's so full of life in the drawing of characters and situations makes it a very nice read. Not to forget that I find it amazing how you manage to make every insane thing that happens natural :D I especially liked the end of the chapter with the drunken rescue maneuvre, because you'd never think that he'd be able to actually do something remarkable, but it's really believable in this combination.

Thanks for the compliments...especially the Pratchett one. He is one of my favorite authors out there, and I thought I read somewhere that he's a Thief fan as well. A shame to hear about the Alzheimer's prognosis...though it apparently hasn't slowed him down any, which is a good thing.
But I really do mean what I say about the compliments. Writing is a lot harder than it looks, and takes a long time, and just to know I made something that is being enjoyed means a lot.

That you did, lest I forget to mention it.
