You guys like comics? :D
There is a
pile of digital comics sales on right now.
(
https://www.comixology.com/Batman-750-Sale/page/2663)
Batman 75th Anniversary where you can get hundreds of Batman comics at 1 dollar a piece. You can pick up the entirety of The Dark Knight Returns for just 4 bucks! TDKR is
the best comic book I've ever read, and I've read like... SEVEN comic books. Highly recommended to anyone who likes the Bat! I bought The Long Halloween btw.
(https://imagecomics.com/content/view/image-comics-50-off-sale) Image Comics 50% off - Only one of these I'm familiar with is Saga, which I'll write more about it in a moment. Picked up Volume 3 of it today.
(https://www.humblebundle.com/thewalkingdead) Humble The Walking Dead Bundle - first 5 volumes(plus some other comics as well) for $15. Normally 1 volume of these are ~$11, so this is a good deal!
Anyway, I'm not a huge comics guy, I've read some Batman, Watchmen, and a handful others. But after Humble Bundle's comics bundle a few months back I really got into...
SagaInline Image:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/90297811/Forums/saga05.jpgAlana and Marko are soldiers on opposing sides of a galactic conflict, but when Marko ends up in a Landfall prison camp and he meets Alana, the two fall hopelessly, foolishly in love. Before long they're both deserters, on the run, and...
expecting. That these two are in love and with child is a huge embarrasment for both sides of the conflict and pretty soon they're being hunted by spies and mercenaries from both sides. This is a damn good story. It's got great characters, very cool and inventive sci-fi concepts, some really gross alien designs, high adventure and romance. Simply put, it's got it all!

Not on sale right now, but I recently picked up the first three trades of (
https://comicstore.marvel.com/All-New-X-Men-Vol-1-Yesterdays-X-Men/digital-comic/28559) All-New X-Men. A follow up to (
https://comicstore.marvel.com/Avengers-vs-X-Men-Collected-Edition/digital-comic/27775) Avengers vs X-Men (where a Phoenix-possessed Cyclops kills Professor X), Beast travels back in time to get the original 5 while they were young, so young/past Cyclops could try to avoid taking the path of the old/current one, and shock old/current Cyclops into abandoning the path (or at least somehow punish old Cyclops for taking the life of Professor X). Things of course get complicated fast, and the young team is shaken heavily by the things that have happened over the years.
A very solid read so far, but I would probably not recommend it to people who want to know the story from the beginning. Of course, that is a general problem with most Marvel stuff.
Another interesting read is (
https://comicstore.marvel.com/Deadpool-Killustrated/digital-comic/32631) Deadpool Killustrated, wherein an alternate universe Deadpool goes around killing various figures from historial works, in an attempt to kill off the very idea of superheroes. Mostly notable for the way it links those historical works to modern heroes (Marvel ones at least).
