Once I figure out why Steam won't launch my copy properly, I might.
DO IT!

I'll have to call a tech out to my house to figure this one out. :(
Might take a week.

What makes you terrible?
I'm very slow, for some reason- my reaction times are garbage. Something bad happens and I flail about trying to decide what I should focus my attention on.

^ Something that improves with practice.
I don't normally go for RTS games much, either -- only a couple of titles in the genre have I ever bought. I can't stand Starcraft's gameplay, and didn't really like most of the C&C games. But I like CoH's front-lines approach, and I can play that game for quite a while without getting frustrated or bored.

I'm an RTS hater for the most part. I enjoyed Age of Empires 2 multiplayer until it became clear that there were 2 factions that were over powered.
dethtoll - the single player campaigns in CoH are just like tutorials for MP. You don't need to be an insane micromanager to be able to play. You really should give it a try. Setting up a solid defence that the enemy splats itself against is very rewarding. Just today I had some "clever" sod set up a machine gun right near my base to pin me in. The doofus had forgotten I had a mortar team. Free MG for my engineers then. Ta.

Oh I've played CoH. Like I said, I suck. The only RTS game I'm worth half a shit in is Defcon, and I lose most of my games.

Play the SP campaign first then a few skirmishes against the computer at expert difficulty. Even at the hardest difficulty the computer is nothing compared to another human.
Do that and I'll take you on.
