Yeah, photo thread, it's this time of year again ;)
So this band <a href="http://www.thewalkersband.com/" title="the Walkers" target="_blank">the Walkers</a> had a concert at City Hall in Barcelona last March 7th to celebrate the launch of their album “It’s what they sell you”. (Great album btw, check it out on their website)
I was there and thought it would be a good opportunity to try my hand at pure black and white film, namely Kodak tri-X 400. I used my ever trusty Nikon F5 and Nikkor 35mm f/2.0 prime for these shots, and no flash whatsoever. The film was pushed to ISO 800 but unfortunately it was impossible to develop pushed (don't ask) so normal 400 dev was used, and I had to go into Lightroom to “finish the job” so to speak. For a first try, I like the result.

Yeah I love the result, they have such an "old-school", organic feel to them... I really dig film for that :D There's simply no way I can replicate that in digital, at least not at my current level.

I like the second shot best. Good diagonal movement and keeps your eye in the frame. Really like all of them, though. Very cool-factor moody.
