Played the ps3 demo a week ago and totally love it. Very Reminecent of "The Darkness" except less freedom, and none of the non combat bits.
Also the Condemned guy, Ethan Thomas, doesn't wear concrete shoes like Jackie does in The Darkness.

Stealth was never one of Jackie`s strong points though :)

Bought the ps3 version a few days ago. Not bad at all. Not as good as the darkness though.
And those crazy chicks with the masks were a total Bioshock rip off. They looked exactly the same, almost down to the letter.
The exploding dolls were very cool with that noise they`d make a few seconds before blowing up.

Well, I always thought some of the folks in Bioshock, the way they behaved (both in terms of AI and in terms of general attitude/mannerisms/etc.) reminded me of Condemned...

One of the System Shock audio log voice people (female, not sure of her name) is in one of the "news reports" in Condemned too. Recognised the voice straight away.

Awesome game but the slow pace really got on my nerves. What's kinda odd is that I enjoyed the non-combat parts most, riding the subway etc. Combat wasn't very fun, and on the xbox version the creeping dark was irresponsive, always biting at nothing. Wish they had given the game some more developmenttime, really needed better ai and controls.

Yeah, my brother and I also came to the same conclusions.

I never had that issue when playing the ps3 version. Actually yeah I did in one or two cases, but that was more when using the tentacle shoot out attack.
I tended to prefer going into demon crawling mode (as in that mode where you run along the floor and walls as the darkness creature, and leap and rip the shreds out of enemies when you get close enough), as the AI had practically no answer to that kindof attack. And even if they did shoot you in that mode, it only damages your darkness powers and not your actual health, so was a win win guarantee style attack, unless you were fighting in close quarters.
I really enjoyed the non combat stuff as well. Especially the "make out session" in the apartment on the couch. First time I`ve seen a kiss done in first person shooter view before. Very bizare. And to have the movie "To Kill a Mockingbird" (atleast in the ps3 version anyway) start playing in its entirety. I actually sat down on the floor (ingame) and watched the whole 2 hour movie. Was a very surreal experience. To watch a full length movie from within a game.
I often sat down in the subways and watched the original series "Flash Gordon" also. Quite a good show, for something from the 50s.

Full movies is ps3 only I believe, must be the bluray, cool feature.

I always thought the 360 version had full movies as well, just at much lower resolution or sumth'n.
