FYI: In FireShadows Barrow, exactly what Nightwalker describes above happened to me as well. I was able to re-start and finish the mission.

Mind Master works now, so whatever the problem was, it's fixed! Thanks for the help. :)

Hm, I restarted Mind Master now a lot of times, but it never ended. When I had solved the puzzle, he would just stand there and ignore me.
I have a few guesses!
Eastwater Bank - Yametha
Thief 2 CTF - telliamed
Night's Recourse - William the Taffer
Old Comrades, Old Debts - Bukary
After the Party - ChangelingJane
I guess I am wrong with my guesses, and I'm completely in the dark for the rest of the missions. :D

Nightwalker, Taliesin, Hit Deity,
Neither I, nor my beta tester encounterd that problem. For us, the doors open and close many times just like any other type of door (of course, you need to remove the beam first). Can I have some details about this bug? Are the doors frobable? Do you frob them, but nothing happens? Are you stuck so that you can't back up? What? I had both types of the door problem as well. I had to restart twice to get it to work right (lucky that since there was not going to be a third try :grr:) I also consistently got mighty slow in one of the crawl spaces.
BTW, it may be just me but the voice over in the intro and ending sounded oddly like a combination of Garrett and Forrest Gump (Forrest Garrett?) "Life was like a box a chocolates, never know when you're gonna hit on the head and robbed."
:joke:

I had NO problems with The Fireshadow's Barrow mission. It worked perfectly for me the first time, and I was just offering a possible explanation for why a "door" might not be working properly - the classic "door bumps into Garrett, door stops" type scenario.
I also had no problems with Mind Master: all of them have worked fine for me, even Old Comrades, Old Debts (even though I can force the objectives finishing earlier by following a set "out of order for me" pattern).

I'd be surprised if trix's problem with OCOD wasn't fixed by the patch. TrapTimedRelay and all that...
The odd thing I've noticed about Mind Master is that, usually when I've got all the colors right but in the wrong order, there will be two sounds playing. Sometimes one of the voices will say I've got all four colors and the other says I've only got three; other times they both say I've got all the colors. It's rather unnerving and somewhat difficult to understand.
Also, when I finally won, the solutions was YGYG, which may account for something.

I really love the Mind Master guy the way he is - lying, cheating...
One time he had the nerve to tell me: one colour right, but wrong place - I had four blue spots!
Another time he choosed a very simple combination, that I cracked with the third try. Then - obviously highly offended by this - he pretended to be blind or deaf or maybe dead. He just ignored me, till I uncovered the shield - and now I was the one blamed for cheating, what a world!
He's a tricky guy - it feels like playing with a real human with all his moods and attitudes.
It's loads of fun!

In First City Bank & Trust Annex, did anyone else have trouble opening the safe in the corner opposite to the vault door? In both my run throughs, I could lockpick it and the handle would work its way clockwise but eventually it would return to the initial position and start over.

message from "Old Comrades" author:
The misssion ends properly only if you have patched version of T2.
That is because the final effect uses TrapTimedRelays...

The only fix I can really think of is making them like the RTC doors with enough mass to push garrett away.
To all others: A restart is not neccessary. Close the doors and try again. Nightwalker nearly did it, but she reloaded before trying to open them again.
