I finished all the missions except THE KEEPERS ARE THIRSTY (there are sooo many switches here  ). :thumb:
So... let the guessing begin... :)
Here are possible - in my opinion - authors of some missions:
MIND MASTER ---- Komag
NIGHT'S RECOURSE --- William The Taffer
FCB&T ANNEX --- Telliamed
BREAKING AND ENTERING --- Yametha or Spitter
THE FIRESHADOW'S BARROW - Yametha
DECEPTIVE PERCEPTION --- William The Taffer
AFTER THE PARTY --- Telliamed or Spitter
DEDICATED TO TTLG --- Cypher628
I am probably completely wrong... But... let's have some fun! :)

For MIND MASTER.
All occurs well with this Fm :)
But as I do not understand spoken English, I do not know only tells me the player opposite :p
Thus for the contest of xxxxxxxxème of Komag, I would be always trying to find the combination exact :D
I liked Deceptive Perception and his reference to Stephen King :D

thanks Nightwalker for the help with the eastwater bank switch, that did the trick :)
and deadman, don't be too embarassed by not being able to find your way in, that took me forever! in fact, i'd quit that fm after looking for quite some time and went back to it later.
i've read all the problems people have had with mind master & just wanted to say that i've had no problem at all with it, running it regularly through darkloader & it completed as it should have, a few times. this one really amazes me, i have to say. you do need some patience though to wait for that guy to stop talking!
i don't have much for guesses as to who built what, though. i could venture a guess as to who built the ones that have the originia series titles up in the objectives screen, but won't since that's not really guessing by building style or anything :) i'm guessing night's recourse is William the Taffer as well... i loved that one, by the way :thumb:
deceptive perception was great...after finally not being creeped out by haunts anymore, i didn't think an fm would ever creep me out again! :D
overall, these are really great! some categories are REALLY hard to pick a favourite for! kudos to everyone who entered (my brain fizzled at the size limitation and i gave up)!

I found an interesting "bug" in Old Comrades, Old Debts!! It's minor though.
If you fulfill all the objectives in the game (reading the first book downstairs, getting the lockpicks, getting the Ringleader's scroll and NOT reading it right away, going outside to trigger the Find Another Way Out objective, and finding the Ringleader's Key) you can then read the scroll (Ringleader's Scheme) and it ends the game prematurely.
So, don't carry the scroll around with you and decide to read it later. Go ahead and read it right away!!

I just started playing the missions. I started with "After the Party" ans have a question: Is it possible that there's a bug with the objectives? I am almost certain I have found all the loot, but neither does that objective tick off, nor does the mission end if I return to the starting point. Shouldn't I have blackjacked the guards (hey, I never said I was something special...or any good! :D ).
How am I supposed to get past those guards without knocking them out? The two at the marble stair chop me to pieces when I try to sneak past them even if it's completely dark.
Is there some hidden loot left? That picture by the fireplace looks suspicious. Is that the author? Or is it a hint?

I was stuck at 935 out of 1135 loot until I did a careful sweep of the area. Also I've unlocked every door except the front ones but I still have two keys that I can't find locks for. Finished the mission though.

If they are at all on alert, they'll probably nail you even in the dark. What method did you use to turn off the lights?
Fuse box or shooting broadheads at the light switches? I tried broadheads the first time and that caused too many complications.
Bumbleson and Norman Druart:
There is a really well hidden piece of jewellery which you need to find (I'm guessing), the objective does tick when you get the right amount.
If I'm leading you astray I apologise. This was the first mission I played out of the comp ones. But If a totally thief soaked memory serves me correct it's hidden behind a chair on the lower floor.
I'm stuck at the very beginning of Fireshadow's Barrow. So far I've went through the tunnel into the wall which led to one of the locked tombs. I got some loot there and went back through the tunnel and took a different direction and dropped from the ceiling back to the start. I also noticed another tomb opened. But now i'm stuck. What do I do?
Nightwalker on 15/7/2002 at 00:36
You're right about the loot, Taliesin. I've just finished After the Party and the hardest piece of loot to find was
a ring behind a chair
. The rest of it wasn't too hard to find. I haven't actually tried it, but I suspect you can rope arrow down from the area past the fuse box to the lower floor and avoid the stairs altogether.
I saw your post about having to quit Fireshadow's Barrow because of problems with the door. I ran into the same problem, and so I restarted from the beginning. This time it worked properly. You might want to try that. I think I'm stuck anyway, but I'm going to try a bit more before I yell for help! :D

Welcome to the forum ME!the.thief. :)
I haven't gotten a lot farther than you, but I've done a bit more. When you were in the locked room at the end of the tunnel did you find the
Jemmy Bar
in the corner, lying on the floor? You need it to get any farther. Find a place to use it. :)
