I can't seem to access two locked doors upstairs - the ones that look wooden but sound metal when struck - or find the letter(s). I've been wandering around (after knocking everyone out) for quite a while checking for switches, etc. and must have overlooked something somewhere. Any hints would be appreciated. Thanks!
There's a key on the table in one of the rooms upstairs. As for the letter: there's a VERY WELL HIDDEN switch in/on/under the desk in the room near the kitchen. It will open small desk doors.
Does this happen for other people?
In the office with the secret door in the desk (where the letters and key are found) try looking through the slats on the back of the chair. For me, when I look through the chair at the secret desk drawer, I can see right through the door! X-Ray vision - Cool! I was also able to pick everything up without actually using the button to open the door. Interesting little bug :) Wonder if this happens for everybody?
Thanks for the spoilers, bukary.
I just overlooked the switch (I was only in that room 5 times looking for wall/floor compartments :tsktsk: ). I did some experimenting and it seems that the front door key doesn't appear on the table in the room with the spell-enabled AI until after the letter objective is finished - that is, if you already have the blood sword. This seems to have been done to keep players from exiting without completing all of the objectives.
great mini mission except for those funky doors that dont open up except for moving a sliver of the way, what gets me most is i just seen an ai go through one of the doors and i want to get in there lol, oh well.
