Slightly opening doors are maybe Off-Limits??? Don't know...
NO, I couldn't hear one single conversation/Garrett speak once, so I don't know what the heck is going on, but that's nothing new. :)
I tried to fill up the privy with lanterns, but that thing is DEEP and spacious!!!

I downloaded the game and tried to play it but I keep getting a script error... so I download the scripts and extract them to what I think are the correct folders, and yet I still cannot play this. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

You need to extract the scripts directly into your Thief 2 directory.

Ethne-
Make sure you download the Thief 2 scripts and place them in your main
Thief 2 folder, not any of the sub-folders inside there. Hope that helps.

I think OCOD was the better of the two overall in terms of design and story, but man, Amnesia has a Blackjack in it, so it's the winner (of those two) in my book! :thumb: Hehe, just kidding, bukary! :)

(... says the guy who just silent-projected and collected Mission With No Name.)

Of course I'm using Darkloader 4.1, are you mad?!?! ;)
I think the next course of action would be to convert the files meself, and then try it. But I also just found out one of my kids had decided to turn my .wav file playback volume in Windows down to about 30%. The little blighter!! :grr:
As for putting the lanterns in the privy, that's what kfort did too!! See? I'm not the only strange one around here......err, actually, I think it was rather clever of us, dontcha think? I mean what else are we supposed to do but put perfectly unswitchable lamps somewhere out of the way and where the light can't shine on us? Although one did get caught a short ways down the drain and when I sat down to do my business and read the Local Beekeeping Journal, I scorched my privates something fierce and spent the rest of the mission looking for a pain-relieving ointment!! The nerve of some people not putting that in their FMs!!!!! :o How rude!

Two questions about the end...
What happens if I kill Merle at the end?

What happens if I simply take the letter with me instead of destroying it?
I double checked and that is precisely where I extracted the scripts to, and it still doesn't work, although now I can watch the little cut scene at the beginning. Why didn't the author or KOMAG mention that you needed scripts for this particular mission? Were these scripts necessary for any other missions?
Thanks
