ok, I'm realy stumped here.
for Redleafs mission, I made 5 converations with some lines the Ai has to say, together with some motions. garrett's comments are activated by letting the Ai frob buttons to sound VO traps in the next step. everything worked fine.
(in the first two convos I used a regular fem. mech. with the custom recordings renamed to f.e. mc41504B,D,F etc, the other three are with a regular male mech with the renamend matching conv. lines )
did send the mission (cow ) to her. redleaf worked on it, did a lot of stuff, she did send it back to finish it up and the conversations won't work . that is: the motions are still being played, the garrett lines and all other stuff I do see being executed/performed. but there is no lines (sound) comming from the AI.
loaded my file i did send... the conversations do work fine.:eek:
i suspect something did get corrupted while sending. ( we had that a few times while working on the spear together:rolleyes:)
so I did rebuild the complete conversation ( praise the builder for RSouls conversationmaster!!). still the same. everything working except the sound files for the AI.
using my old file is not an option because redleaf did so much work on it...
I'm clueless what is going on, someone a suggestion??

Did she reload schemas while she had it, and without the schema files for the convos they are now missing? If you play one of the conversation schemas, does it play? If not, just try reloading them, and if so then something may be corrupted in how the convo is set up.

ok, did reload the schema's did get some warnings. a voice missing and (

managed to fix it. still no soundfiles. played the schemas ( F9) they all worked.
checked the AI again... and found out the mechanist were all set back to their standerd voice ( vmechmale and vmechfem) :eek:
gave them the needed voices (vmech1 and vmech4) again and now the lines are back again:cool:
but with reloading the schemas I gained my lines but lost the custom/ extended motions ( like rsouls reading letters etc)
off to puzzle how to get them back in again:cheeky:
edit: ofcourse... a corrupted database. luckely I had a spare in my mailbox :cool:
