Hey Sxerks! I'm using your *.psd's, but not for this particular Phase of this project! Thank you. If it's any consolation....
ALSO, I went to the link you gave in the Mapping out The City thread with all the *.psd's. I was able to download three of the TDS files and the other four pretended to download, going through the whole process, but leaving a 0 kb placeholder.
I was able to get:
T3_castle.psd
T3_Inn.psd
T3_keeper_C.psdUpload2.com isn't the best files host, but all those files are in the 3 zip files I put in this thread.
Are you using MSpaint to do this?
@theBlackman
The files are still there, maybe you have a popup blocker or some other crazy web browser related problem?

I'm having trouble too, but you say they are there so I'll try some things. I haven't received any messages that the download's being prevented. I'll let you know. Thanks!
Yeah, I'm using MS Paint, and Photoshop. One's quicker than the other for some aspects, plus I don't have to set up MS Paint for the work like I do for Photoshop. It's going quickly--relatively speaking--for a guy who's just starting doing this kind of thing. I'm using Photoshop to stitch the screenies together, color-replacing, and saving my master workfiles. I can work so much faster in MS Paint removing all the excess lines and rubber-stamping reworked repeated architecture, like those arched windows in Running Interference. I made one good one and stamped four in a row, copied the four, flipped and stamped the four until the two floors were finished. Then I eyeballed from the 3D view and 2D view to do any nudging. I am often, quite literally, working on these one pixel at a time.
One stupid thing that keeps happening: If I open DromEd first (makes sense, right?), I cannot open Photoshop, even if I close DromEd. I have to restart the laptop. If I open Photoshop first, then DromEd, I can work efficiently.
So here's what I'm looking for (although the 4 colors have been replaced as follows: black to white, blue to black, red to a light coral, the dark kind of yellow to pure yellow.):

I zoomed in until I had as close to a 10x10 pixel square for the workfile, and for a sense of consistency from one map to the next. I chose to go a little under the target size, instead of over, that way it took less screenshots, and I could still see which line belonged to which brush.

use gif or png format, both are lossless
GIF is only lossless if you consider palettization to be a lossless transformation. Which it isn't. :erg:

Well yes, but I don't think that the limit of 256 colors would be a problem in this particular case.

Fortunately, the workmaps--done right--have only four colors. Seven, at the most, unless the screenshots are pasted into a program that has automatic anti-aliasing on.
Nah, Sxerks, it's not working. Pop-up blocker's off. What else can I try?

No blocker. I've even shut down (risky) my Virus and Firewall. I can load the first two, but the T3 file just goes around like a carousel.
I'll see if JT works it out. I'll keep trying but have pretty much exhausted my meagre store of ideas to make it DL.
Thanks anyway for the effort you made to post them and for the note.

I gave up. The only options left are for someone to successfully do it and share it on another site that doesn't give us "the run-around", OR I find a computer that will let me download it and save it to my flashdrive.
It baffles me that some files download just fine while others will not, especially when Sxerks says they work for him.

I will host all the images on my site if you'll email them to me.

More than willing to put them up on Southquarter also.
