I know this subject has been posted several times but none of the other posts answered my question (so dont get mad at me). I know how to play the files directly from modplug and other programs bu i want to know how i can make the files mp3's. Is there some way i can convert them, (other than downloading them)
Thank you

Save them as .wav and use your mp3 encoder of choice. Simple.

okay, so i copied one of the umx files and changed the name to .wav. Now the wav file wont even play on winamp, it says "this is not a waveform-audiofile" i really dont know what to do

MODPlug can save them as .wav :)

Click the "Save Wav" button that's right there on the main Modplug Player window. :D

For better conversion quality (as Modplug 's author say himself) use ModPlug Tracker instead of ModPlug Player.
But I suspect "me" will have considerable difficulty to find the correct item in Modplug Tracker, since its interface is awfully more complex than Modplug Player... <IMG SRC="devil.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="joker.gif" border="0">

Please, "me" don't take it too seriously, it is just usual teasing from mind-cracked ancients.... <IMG SRC="joker.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="joker.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="joker.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="joker.gif" border="0">
