I got all 3 heavy weapons in my inventory!
The flamethrower is by far the favorite. I fry people for the hell of it! Anna Navarre, ooh! Piece of cake! The poor victims run around, and I found this out: If you fry someone in a high place, (Maggie Chow) they tend to run against a window till the window breaks, then they fall out the broken window. HAhah! Definitely the coolest thing!
But that damn Plasma Rifle? It's got no bonus to it whatsoever! I'm Advanced Heavy Weapons, and it takes two shots to kill a charging cop! How slothful! Why do I even have it? Cause of pride in heavy weapons.
So anyone who knows if there's a secret power behind the rifle that I don't know of yet, plz tell me.

I was not a heavy weapon guy. I only kept a GEP gun around to 1) take out robots I was too lazy to shut down, 2) eliminate clusters of soldiers (the WP rockets were some of my favorite moments in the game), and 3) open doors I didn't have keys to.
That said, I never found the Plasma gun to be anything approaching useful. Maybe if I had gone to Master on my Heavy skills, but it just didn't have the range, stopping power, or accuracy that I would have liked.
Although, no one else that carries it seems to have that problem. The times when I would get sick of Paul and start wailing on him, then run away like a little girl, he'd fry me with his Plasma from 20 meters.

Ahh... a new playing style. Finishing the game with only the three heavy weapons, and no other. Gotta try that. ;)
On the other hand, I might have to "cheat" and use the staple gun too. And LAM's. Well... <IMG SRC="thumb.gif" border="0">

I completed the game with all three heavy weapons and found the Plasma Gun not quite useful. For any people, the Flamethrower is so much better. I also carried a Mini Crossbow, Stealth Pistol, Medi Kits, Lockpicks, Multitools which left me one space for everything else :)
Wecause of the lack of a low tech weapon, I had to go around dropping crates off walls to get them open :)
Anyway, I got the Plasma Gun to 101% accuracy (70% base + 31%.. go figure :)) and so that was good and it did 157 damage which was also good. The trouble was, it didn't compare to the flamethrower's ability to stop people shooting at you and so I hardly ever used it.

Umm.. DJ`K. Wouldn´t it be aggod idea to lug around a combat knife when you don´t need the space? ;)

Nono, you misunderstand. I had one space left in the inventory for Biocells, LAMs, Gas Grenades, Ballistic armour and everything else. I just went around and carried whatever was useful at the time.
Which brings me to something a bit annoying; why does the Dragon's Tooth take up so much inventory space? It shold only take up the handle, especially as you see JC deactivate it as he puts it away. Although I suppose it's a bit too good to let it only take up one space :)

First time through, i was all about the stealth pistol. I didn't realise it did so little damage till the second time through, but by the end of the game, that mother was POWERFUL.

Don't think of it as a pistol. Think of it as a pocket assault rifle. After all, it does have about 4 times the rate of fire of the pistol (which is about 2/3 the rof of the assault rifle).

I don't think 12 damage can be considered powerful by any standards..
