Has anyone come across this anywhere? I tried doing a search for that in this forum but came up with zilch. I can't really make one myself because I don't want to learn blender (my gosh the interface is intimidating to me) and I don't really understand anim8or enough. Also I don't think I'd do a good job making a model myself.
So yeah, if anyone knows of where I can get such a model for free on the internet, or is willing to make one for me, I'd be really grateful.:)

Actually, I'm doing more searches and I just discovered a corn stalk from Christine on the LPG. However, there's no .bin file in there, she assumes that you will use some kind of existing object for the model itself. I could also use some hay.

That readme is just a generic thing the Schwaa created. It seems that it was an object pack and he split it up into individual objects and lost the bin along the way.

Instead of being intimidated by Blender and remaining corn stalkless, why don't I help you out? I'd be up for writing a tutorial on how to make one if you're willing to give it a go.

Sure I guess. I do have christine's texture files though and her readme states to find a current object. Still not sure what would be suitable though.
The other issue with blender is actually setting it up to export for thief properly. I did see a thread here in the Guild about a new plugin for blender?

Yup. That plugin makes exporting a fairly simple affair. It didn't take long at all for me to learn how to use it.
Also, do you have access to Photoshop or GIMP? I'll want to it all from scratch, rather than using any premade textures.

You know how to use it pretty well, right? Like if I say "make an alpha mask", you'll know what to do? I'll go into detail with Blender, but having to learn GIMP at the same time would take me about forever.

I won't put that on you. I could just look up what I don't know I guess. I'm no expert on GIMP, but I've heard the term alpha mask before, just not entirely sure I remember how to make one. Also, I'm going to look into what Zylon mentioned.
