It's because Slay Result is 'no effect'. Changing it to normal brings back the smoke. Grey smoke looks a bit strange; it could do with a pale brown colour.

That would explain it. :o

After setting the
Slay Result back to
Normal the light produced by the litemush_fragil remains. :erg: That may be why LGS set it to
No Effect.

It works fine for me. I tested in a basic mission through Dromed.

That's odd. I tested it while in HMDK, put one on the floor, set slay result to normal and optimized... same result as before... the patch of light is still on the floor after the mushroom disappears.

I get the same behaviour as RSoul when I try it in Xavier's, which makes me wonder if this might be a timing issue.
John, just to check, in your litemush_fragil, does your S -> Scripts have AnimLight in Script 0 and FrobSlay in Script 1?

It works fine for me as well in my current mission, which happens to use the DEDx gamesys (don't ask).

Yes both scripts are there in that order. I think I need to send my fragile mushrooms in for repair. :joke: Honestly I don't know why it doesn't work on my pc.

Does it behave the same in a stand-alone test mission? If so, could you upload it somewhere I can could try it and see if I see the same thing happen.
[edit]Actually, for good measure: (
http://thief.starforge.co.uk/images/4/4d/Lightmush_test.7z) a test .mis file. Try loading that into dromed, and trying to extinguish the mushroom; that one works for me.[/edit]

Nope :o still doesn't turn off the light. I wonder if my scripts are buggy.
