Heres what happened: I just came out of Level 2 of the versalife building after destroying the UC and arriving at the canal district of wang chi. After messing around in that area for awhile I started noticing some of the textures on walls and and other objects started to become multicolored pixels or dots instead of their normal appearence. Foolishly I hit the quicksave key thinking I could just reload where I left off and the textures would reset, but that never happend, and the game crashed in the middle of saving the level. Now when I reload from the last quick save I end up back at the market area only to find out I have no augs or skills, and the Luminous path want to kill me as soon as I walk into their compound. Is there some way I can reload from a different quicksave file? I dont have any other save games, only quick saves, and I really dont want to start over again. <img src="graemlins/erm.gif" border="0" alt="[Erm...]" />

the quicksave option saves only one copy of your game and replaces itself each time you used it. sorry, you may just have to start over again. (it's easier the second time through ... it was right after hong kong that i had to start again as well and it goes by much quicker the second time around ... it's even more fun).
one of the problems with deus ex (and one of the benefits) is that it's a very personal experience and therefore hard to replace lost games like that. <img src="frown.gif" border="0">
