Well browsing through, I noticed no one's talked about this awesome indie game. Someone's gotta start the ball rolling lol

It's like a mix of Metal Slug, Worms, Garry's mod and Ground Control 2 weirdness. If you're looking for a non linear strategy side scroller game, this is it. Every single action is controlled by physics, so weird things can happen
Example: one of my first "lulz" experiences was how I managed to beat the tutorial. I thrashed the enemy team when I sent down a rocket, supposed to deliver a bunch of weapons and units. However, the rocket is a shitty piece of aircraft, and it can't carry heavy weights, so it just dropped down from the sky and landed on 2 dreadnoughts and 1 dummy robot. I lol'ed so hard at that epically amazing scene
Another time, I was showing my cousin how to play it. The dummy robot got into his base, and was already aiming for his brain. Then, a dreadnought robot also came into his bed, but dreadnoughts don't have jetpacks, so it landed on the dummy robot and crushed it. The impact also killed the dreadnought, so that saved my cousin's brain
It's the most epic game ever.

Don't you just think it's most abused word on the Internet.
Have they fixed digging yet? Last time I played it when digging it would create a lot of ground noise which caused serious moving problems.

Considerably so when we're talking about, like, Mass Effect, but not when you use it in the context of Cortex
Which build did you play? As far as I know, light diggers are still shit, but heavy diggers can path a way through easily. Also, now there's the shovel, which is crap, but fun to smash heads with
But why settle for silly diggers, when you can download massive digging crafts from the mod forums

Tried this a while ago, found it fascinatingly uninteresting.

Tried it again actually and well... the physics are still untweaked, the AI is still utterly retarded and it still breaks my heart because it has such potential.
In any case, the only difference between this build and last one I played seems to be one audio track(Pretty damn good one though), Wiki says it's been in development for 7 years and the CC's official site merrily flashes news from april, which all adds up to a conclusion of the game being pretty much dead.

One click from the main page can tell you it's not dead: (

Back in high school, me and a friend used to take opposite ends of a sheet of binder paper and draw complicated cliffside forts bristling with weaponry, traps, and soldiers. It was massive fun compared to learning Spanish.
I'd love to try out this (likely as overloved as dwarf fortress) game, but it crashes everytime I start it, with some message about resolution and color depth. If they can't get it together enough to make decent DirectX calls, I'll be withholding my precious internet enthusiasm.

We were more of a top-down view kind of guys.
Also me and my buddy(Yes I had buddies at one point in my life) had this kind of challenge in Worms - the original Amiga Worms - where one of us built a "fortress" from the steel blocks, and hid inside. Then the other had to traverse entire fortress(Almost always over water) using only ninja rope.
I also get an error first time around, but then it defaults back to VGA and runs in a window. After I maximize it it works fine.

I tried it out and so far I love it, although I got my ass handed to me.
