The bow I got is across the hall from a room that overlooks the gambling hall in the bar. There's a guy pacing in there, and a note on the desk about dumping water on the lights. Go across the hall from there, and the bow is on the wall under a bear's head.Quote Posted by lomondtaffer
I got stuck like that, and found quite by accident, that my scouting orb was activated in the foreman's office. I right-clicked, and got back to the basement. However, now all arrows
except the water arrows work fine. Can't get the water arrows to work at all, so I'm really struggling not to be caught!
Am I the only one with this 'problem', or is it part of the plot. Found a note about a broken bow upstairs.
By the way, AWESOME looks and feel to the whole thing!!
It's definitely connected to the scouting orb. I grabbed the bow from a different spot and this time I could see my guy and even watch him move around, only he wouldn't walk. He would slide around like a chess piece. After a right click, the game returns to normal and in place of where I was frozen watching myself, there hovered a scouting orb. If I grabbed it, the weird view returned and I can switch in and out of it at will. And I never lost the scouting orb from my inventory. Oh, and all my arrows seem to work fine.
*I'm now seeing apparently random scouting orbs appearing near my guy, all hovering above the floor. I can frob them and when I do, the weird view returns, and I can switch in and out of it at will.

Dom, is this happening every single time you've started a new game, or every time you load a saved game?
Can you tell us what the last thing you've heard was, and how long you've waited after that and heard nothing again?
(or maybe this conversation has been had already and I missed it.)

well, right after i turned off the elevator power, i got this new objective - not to leave until told. anyway i explored the first and the second level but nothing happened.

I have a little problem. Everything starts up perfect, but the lightgem / sound thingy doesn´t change, it glows red and shows im making tons of sound constantly so i can´t really know when im in cover.
There will be cookie for anyone that solves this problem!

Other Agents Stopping BugAfter much examining, here is a possible solution. It may or may not work.
You see, it seems to break as soon as we use TrapTimedRelay, which I understand is omitted from the earlier version of convict.osm
Try updating your version of convict.osm, if you are having this problem. And let me know if it works or not. Preferably here, not via PM.
