Hello Everyone,
I'm really enjoying this FM. Can someone give me a clue where to find the key to the air vents?
Thanxs,
Hope Vincent:cool: :thumb:

I can't open any of the vent grates
Eye the 1st floor storage room, that with the spare/defect fuses. There are _two_ vent entrances - the second one is behind some furniture, which has to be moved - look for a desk with something under it. Climb up->Steel left a key for you there (and some happy tools behind the key)

As a recap, the main points are
1. Steel
a. Did you hear Steel pick up his gear?
b. If so, did Steel continue reporting right through until he reports that he's finished his task?
c. If not, what was the last thing he said?
2. Stone
a. Did Sheam tell Stone that everything was ready for her to head in?
b. Did she keep reporting until she got back out again?
c. If not, what was the last thing she said?
3. Dante
a. Which task did you choose?
b. How did you complete the task? (spoiler tags on this one please)
1. Yes to both a and b.
2. Yes to a, no to b. Last thing she said was that she was heading in.
3a. Elevator.
3b.
Ghosted basement (well ghosted guards only, knocked out two girls in kitchen), doused torches, turned switch off, reported in, switched fuses, reported in when the power went out to finish objective. Then explorered the guard area before heading up from the basement.I have uploaded an archive containing two saves. Both are from shortly after turning off the elevator power. In game0002.sav the other agents have disappeared, in quick.sav Stone reports that she's halfway to the elevator shaft after a couple of minutes.

I can't open any of the vent grates or the basement windows. I've explored every floor, except the basement, which I can't find a way into. There's very few doors I can't open.
Well when I played I was told that the Vent Key is in the second floor utility room, check your map the room is labeled 'UTIL'. To open the basement windows you need the key, can't remember where I got that though, sorry.

that loot stash under the desk, and moved the furniture to expose the ladder, but there's no key or other equipment laying around.

I just went back through the entire map that I have access to, turned on all the lights and still haven't found anything else.

The location of the key changes depending on the task chosen.
As it's 4:10 AM my time, I do need to sleep, but will be back later today. I hope those of you who can will enjoy the experience of the Ivory Rose.

Well, as I can't get to the basement to pick my task, I guess I'm screwed.
The keys I have are as follows:
Casino Service
Clubhouse
Duke's Suite
Minister's Suite
Owner's
Arbitration
Upper Offices
Head Accountant
Light Control
Keyring says I have 12 keys though, so I must have some duplicates.

OK, I finished the mission successfully last night, but I did get the agents bug the first time I tried it and this is what I recall. There are three separate "play timelines" as I'll call them.
[Playing on expert, chose to disable the cameras in EACH playthrough]
1. The very first time I played the mission, the agents seem to be working correctly, but I got caught and reloaded from a save AFTER I had gotten my gear.
2. Continuing from the SAVE mentioned in (1), this is where the agents seems to STOP. I disctincly remember Steele doing the following in the first iteration:
- Getting his tools
- Taunting me
- Finishing the job and leaving his leftover tools in the storage room
In the 2nd run through, I'm not sure exactly where I was in the communication timeline, but I stopped hearing from everybody. I'm not firm on this, but I *think* I restored from after a point where Steele got his tools, but did not get the subsequent messages from him. I played for about 90 minutes exploring and even finished the cameras, but got no indication of completion from Steele.
3. I quit T2 and consulted the boards about the problem. I restarted the game (but not the mission) and reloaded from savegame just prior to when I went into the restroom to change into mission gear. In this 3RD run through, everything went off without a hitch. Steele finished his job, I did mine, Stone and Rubber continued in their tasks and the flow of communication was always there. I even saved/reloaded several times within this "play instance" and the narrative never broke down as it did the first time. I was able to finish the mission eventually.
I have T2 latest version (I bought the value pack which included T1 in it) with all the proper scripts. Installed using Darkloader 4.3. Running the ddfix patch as well.
NOTE: Do you guys think this may be related to whether or not we ask certain (optional) hint questions from the mask or not? I remember holding back on asking questions because I wanted to figure things out myself. Might not be a factor, but I realize when solving techincal issues such as this, the more specific info you have the better.
