Hmm, that other Gen.osm seems to do the trick :thumb:
I reinstalled Thief after removing it, DDFix and widescreened it then played. Nada. Restarted with the new osm file and all good

Question, before i got my gear i went into the casino hall and if i remember this correctly, none of the guests had purses on them, but hours later when i went back (wondering if i missed any loot), some of them had purses! Luckily i had turned off the lights, so it was easy getting their money. I am assuming the purses don't appear until after you get your gear.
Also 2 incidents of guards being deaf and blind. One where in pitch black 2 guards brushed straight pass me twice whilst i was stationery in the 'swimming pool' room, and this is a bust of course, but they just ignored me. The other time I walked loudly across a marble floor with a guard nearby and he just ignored me as well. :cheeky:

You just didn't notice! They definetly do have purses during that stage. In fact, it's quite amusing to go through that room while in your noble clothes and pick everyone's pockets!
Guards tend not to be able to notice you when it's pitch black. :erm:
Most of the guards on the 1st floor near the casino are not supposed to be able to distinguish your footsteps from those of any other guests.

:( Downloaded fm with no movie. As I usually use Garretloader read mail found GL will not work for this FM, and then downloaded Darkloader43 set it up entered directories etc selected Mission COSAS 2 Mission X works
in DL select expert continue etc start game, it starts black screen strange textures.
Read info copied Gen.osm Convict.osm downloaded file unziped in Thief 2 folder, but game still doesnt work.
I am not computer savy at all after 10 years loaded darkloader on own (my brother usually helps me but lives 5 hrs away)- It worked but only texture messed up.
Need help Step by step
If I have miissed something in thread (answers) already please guide me to the light and i will try again.

Ok. The last time I heard from the agents was when I walked over to the 2 gates in the Ivory Rose grounds. After that, I have covered every portion of the grounds but still no reply from the agents.
