That's very wrong... would you be willing to remove it (through darkloader) then install it by unzipping straight to the directory?
Does regular Thief2 work?

Have a close look at the
shelves in the Guard Captain's Office. It's written on a small sheet. If you're as blind as I was the first couple of times try
2814One strange thing happend to me during the ending sequence. While the other agents commended my feats there was a frobbable purse hovering in the air somewhere between the back and front courtyards.

The
code is in the Captain's Office, check the bookcases.dirtyoldman, i experienced a floating purse as well in the packed casino area. I think this is a 'bug' inherent in the Dark Engine. I also experienced floating keys as well.

This is just a curiosity, not really relevant to the bug fixing ((
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1758250) which now has it's own thread)
BTW Dark Engine bug or no, we're working on a fix for the floating keys/purses.
Some people were worried that MX wouldn't life up to 'the hype'. Some of us developers were of the opinion that what we'd let slip didn't even approach 'hype'.
What's the verdict?

This mission certainly does raise the bar for mission standards in many areas, including in-game interactions, graphics, sounds, triggered events, etc.
Boy, are we spoiled or what by this great work of artistic creativity?
I don't know of any other vidgames out there where the people who play it can take such a high level of ownership in creativity and then share it with their fellow players and on top of that know it will be so greatly appreciated!!!
Thank you very much for all your diligent and time-consuming efforts in developing this fine masterpiece!!! It was worth it and we all greatly appreciate your hard work!!!
You definitely have outdone yourselves with this one! :thumb:

The "hype" word was my mistake and I didn't mean it that way. I just meant that there was a huge amount of anticipation about the release of the mission on the forum. We'd all be looking forward to it for so long. It was a bad choice of word and I do apologize for using it.
dirtyoldman on 17/8/2008 at 16:26
A thread comprising 364 posts :wot: within 48 hours should easily qualify as hype.
Apart from some complexity-induced bugs the discussion might well continue like this for a while as your work is among those FMs (if not THE) with highest replayability value, far exceeding most commercial standards.
@HauntHunter: I acclaim your words.

Has any one managed to get the gas arrow that is high up in the Ivory Hall? I tried walking along the ledge but I am too close to the wall so I get 'stuck'. There's nowhere to stick a rope arrow as far as I can tell. I've collected 4 gas arrows so far. :cheeky:
