That's it.. I give up. I really could use some help:(
I'm at the part where you must return cloud's key.... here's the deal. I've found two ways to get to floor 4. Route #1: Take stairs. Route #2: Use vine arrow up to balcony that is inside the third floor theatre. Both routes are quite difficult, but the latter is more difficult because of all the patrols nearby. First off, I'm having a lot of trouble not getting caught, and also, I can't seem to find the "assistant's office" in the process. Also, the fact that guards walk through mr cloud's office really doesn't help matters. I'm sorry if I'm complaining, but it's just frustrating for me.

@sNeaksieG...[spoiler]first off you need to get into cloud's quarters not his office to return the key...
second...you can use the beams over the mahogany hall...access via vents...to make it to the 4th floor.
third...you don't necessarialy have to return the key to Cloud's quarter's....there is another way...:sly: [/spoiler]

Far as I can tell, you must take out at least 1 guard to get the key back in place.

Ah, I see... Thanks sly & Capt.... I was trying to find the vent to get to fourth floor, but sadly the one vent shaft only went up to the third floor... could not go any higher. I'm playing on expert btw.
Mahogany balcony.. got it. Also, it's quite difficult manuevering floor three and my last save was IN the theatre.

I don't care how good a player you are, there's no way to sneak past a guard who is brightly lit up and he is constantly facing you, when doing so would light you up just as much. Especially when there's 3 other guards and some other guy patrolling the same hall.
Unless you could blind him, but most likely he will hear you on the tile between the carpets or hear you jump over said tile. And even if you do make it into Cloud's place and lock yourself in, the guards can still open the door.
Maybe you can do it, but like I've said before, we aren't all experts.
On a side note, I'm getting rather frustrated with this document copy thing. Has anyone found all the documents? I've tried using the copy kits on every readable I can find, and still only got 4. I've got

As far as I can tell there's no way to get pass that guard with him in place. I had to distract the guard and get him away from there so I could get pass. Of course if you find a certain item, you could use that instead.
I found 4 documents, but I am scratching my head wondering where the 5th is.

As a general play hint. Stop scratching. Play again or put the mission away for a while and try again. There is so much going on in this mission that i'd say it 99 percent assured that you will not find/see/do everything in one play...and if you did you would not be playing the mission you'd be turning it into an experiment or a science project. After two months of testing I'm still finding odd bits that I missed.

There's a bug with the keyring that is causing certain keys held by AIs to break as soon as the player puts that key on the keyring. This breaks their patrols and leaves them standing, idle, forever. It will be fixed in the patch.
