Nearly every time I try to distract a guard, they run straight for the alarm button, unless they see me first.

I think the AI's are way too dependant on that button.

Really? In my experience sometimes they go for the alarm, but other times they don't, even after they see me and chase me around, then lose me. I think the servants tend to go for the alarm more often.

:( Well, I cant find the mechanics document anywhere. I checked his little nook, but all I got there were some bunches of papers.
Also, I called the girl out of the booth with the gong, but she just disappears. I got one key from the security office, but it says guard captian or somehting, and doesnt open the money exchange. -Maybe the key I want is floating around somewhere?

Oh, and maybe this is dumb but can I get into the basement area even though I took the camera deativation task? im am clearly missing a key :(

I have no problems with that guard... I just hide in the corner by arbitration and pickpocket her.

Anyway, I finally know how to get the lightswitch key but from there I need to figure out my next move... I still haven't found Mr Cloud's room.

But in other news, I saw the floating key bug and another bug i noticed was that this one guard on the fourth floor has a hard time noticing the player, even in considerable light.:o

Just finished my most serious run (with all the quest options/convos working) and got 4/5 documents and 7665/8385 loot

I must admit that I did a little memory editing on the invisibility potion so I could take a key from Raputo's guard and a purse from Cloud himself. Turned out I didn't need the key since I had already bashed the door it goes to.

I've just discovered that some of the lightswitches are lockpickable! but not all of them.

I was in the Monarch's Room on Expert, and knocked out the guards and servant there, which I assume are supposed to be Raputo's personal bodyguards. Strangely, the mission did not fail, which I would have expected.

WOW! What a game! Frustrating at times, but over-all a superb winner.

My frustrations mainly concerned:
1.Trying to hear what the team was saying through the mask as I'm whaling away at a guard, or during an intense moment.
2. Sneaking around a corner, or coming out of a room and invariably 3-4 guards come towards me no matter how long I wait.
3. Doors opening out and I can't enter room quickly enough.
4. I don't enjoy working with a team. Forget that and time limits.

The rooms and appointments were fantastic, as was the architecture. That is something I really notice and enjoy. I very much appreciate all the time (years) and work to succeed in stretching the limits of the dark engine to the extreme. It is a huge success!!! CONGRATULATIONS!

I finished in 2 hrs. 25 min, but missed 1/2 the loot. Also, didn't find Cloud's mistress' room. If I did, couldn't use the dust cloud on it. Found 3 items to copy.
I was hoping I would have a dinner date after it was over, or meet the other team members for a celebration.

But the map mentions something about braving his personal guards inside the Monarch Suite.
