1. There is a safe in Ruckenaw's(sp?) office (Head Accountant - 4th floor). Where is the key?
2. In the money exchange lobby, there is that locked booth that I think contains a safe. How do I get inside the booth?
3. In the garden(4th floor)where all the people who aren't supposed to see you are chatting, there are 2 offices at one end, the first of which I can sneak into, the second I can't without alerting them. The invisibility potion can be used, but I don't want to unless I have to. Is this the only way into that second office?
4. I've got 3/5 documents copied. The 3 I got are the same 3 everyone else has managed to find. There are 2 documents left to copy and I've been everywhere except the areas noted above. Does resolving the first three questions answer this fourth question?
1. Check the desk more closely.
3. I managed to sneak into both offices with no problems. I crouched and also when i got into each office I quickly got out of sight and turned off the lights.

@Clock
1) Behind painting...look for lever under desk
2) IIRC it can't be picked...you need a key...can't remember where you find it
3 You should be able to just sneek in...it's what I always did.
4) You are probably missing something in the trash in the office in Stormcloud's lounge. As for the 5th...I'm not going to post a spoiler at this time other than this....you need to do something else before it becomes avaliable.
5) All loot is avaliable. I found it all as did pavlovscat.

I should be whipped for not finding that2.
Thx...at least I know that I need to find a key3.
I snuck in a different way....the ledge surronding the garden.4.
Hmmm...I'll do a trash search again and see if I missed anything...Yes ! That's it. I read the crumpled paper but never thought to copy it.
If the 5th relates to the chore(s) I was supposed to do, then I'm out of luck as I didn't perform those chores.5.
Nice to know all the loot is available. Though I don't know where it could be...unless ~2000 in loot is in the Money Exchange Booth.

You can open that with the
Head Accountant's key. It's also possible to get the clerk to leave the booth, but that might be buggy at the moment.

YAY! I finally beat it. Took me three days (but that's because I'm a bit slow, and also I didn't play it non-stop)....:tsktsk:

My Post-Game Analysis:
While it only took me 2 hours (according to thief), it actually took me more hours than that. You can count on it.:o The reason is, I screwed up quite a bit and had to reload dozens of times (which I feel kinda bad about).... Also, there were a few times where I just got frustrated (usually after getting caught) and decided to attack people.:ebil: Overall, I feel this was a fantastic FM, and it felt almost like a seperate campaign like T2X is, minus 12 levels. (While I haven't played T2X through yet, I read there were 13 levels, right?) Also, thank god for the help here, there were some parts that were driving me bonkers. This mission surely is a challenge. Perhaps if I play through it again someday it will be a bit easier since I've already played it and know where stuff is. Well, unless I forget.:) Anyways, I chose the elevator route, and next time I'll have to chose the camera route.
Some somewhat negative feedback:
It also occured to me that this mission felt more modern, as someone mentioned before, like during the 1930s or something. I guess it comes back to the argument that thief is an alternate reality to our own, and therefore it's nonsense to expect accuracy. Still, I felt it was kind of weird to have a real elevator and real toilets and faucets in this mission. But counter to this, it fit the story, and worked well actually. The tile was quite a pain. Especially floor three. I had to reload in that area quite a bit. :grr: Though it does add to the challenge, it certainly was frustrating at times. And yes, I did shoot a few moss arrows.......
Now it comes time to say
THANK YOU CoSaS Team.
Despite some bugs I encountered (though I was more well off than some other taffers, guess I lucked out:o ) this mission is very polished. The architecture is fantastic.:o
Lol, man there's more stuff I could say about this mission but I'll hold my tongue.... So much to talk about on this mission

Shit. I gotta start reading the known issues portion of the mission descriptions. I've been ghosting this great yet not quite bug-free mission for about 7 hours on impossible until I gave up and now I'm reading I have to restart the mission to be possibly able to finish it... :cheeky:

From a technical standpoint this is almost equal to the other two jaw-droppers of late (Broken Triad and A Night In Roxburg)
But as someone who ghost levels with aplomb, from a gameplay perspective I have to give this a zero out of ten. You end up forced to basically take out everyone you can take out to power your way through it, as there is little or no 'finesse' left in the game. The 'poisoned dagger' routine just seemed nowhere near as satisfying as the good old thunk on the head and WAY more awkward - I guess that's the general impression I'm coming away with - EVERYTHING seems awkward... from the new hardware/items that aren't as intuitive and NOWHERE near as useful, to the absurdly open hallways and absurdly cramped rooms, filled with clipping errors and 'getting stuck' galore.
After a decade of playing every thief fan mission as released, and even suffering through the pile of rubbish known as Deadly Shadows...
It takes some real effort to get me to walk away from a Thief game... but you've so transformed it that's exactly what I'm doing.
Sorry, No joy.

Digi..To answer your question regarding the ending.
I did not download the movies with the game. That is probably why I didn't get to celebrate with the team? Today, I downloaded the game and movies and am replaying it on easy (expert).
The 2nd floor is a killer for me. Had to reload about 50 times. No matter how I move, I'm caught..not by 1 guard, but several will suddenly appear and mow me down. That little squirt walking about always heads for the alarm before I can stop him.
This time through, I agreed to make the rounds for Rubber (I think), so that will add more playing time+some things I missed.
I mentioned not being able to hear from the team at times. Well, I hear them, but I am so busy defending myself, or sneaking, that I am distracted and then forget about it. My bad, I guess.
At first, I thought this game is not for me. After replaying for an hour or so, it is absorbing and I'm getting in to it. It is so different from the traditional Thief. There is yet to be a game I give up on.
CoSaS Team did a tremendous work on this and I appreciate it very much. I'm sure the other taffers agree.

Just finished my 5th time through and got 5/5 documents but still only 7665/8385 loot, including the 2 rooms off the garden room where the meeting is taking place, and Cloud's purse
And this time I didn't cheat to get a load of invisibility potions, only needed 1.
This still leaves 720 loot missed. No idea where it could be, as there isn't a door, chest, or other furniture that I haven't opened, and there's nothing left laying around in the open.
We really need a loot list.

deathshadow: To each his own, but I think you're being incredibly pessimistic.:erg:

I don't see how they are absurd in any way. Have you ever been in a building that needs space for many people? Come on, it's a huge complex for a reason.
