Kyle, thank you for your kind words! But no, the patch will require you to start a new game.

I have the task of turning off the vault cameras; playing on Impossible (which I hope is not literal).
I have the vent key and have unlocked two vents in the first-floor storage room (with the movable desk and loot stash); I can climb the ladder to reach one vent or hop up onto a box to reach the other... but I can't climb in; I'm too tall. I can't even do the old trick of leaning forward and walking (for the ladder vent). I can't find any boxes to climb upon for the other... I know I'm missing something, but what?
Thanks,
Dafydd

Some crawlspace entrances are out-only. Sorry!

Ah, managed to get into the vent atop the ladder; I just had to bang against it enough times that I bobbled at just the right moment and popped in. But by DN's response, I suspect that I'm not supposed to be headed that direction...!

No no, you're fine. :)
And there's no 'you're going the wrong direction' In Mission X. :)
(Well, of course there is, if you want to find the blueprints and you're heading towords the offices, you're going the wrong direction. ;) )

You said you opened every door, how did you open the
small room door on your left when you exit the crawlspace to enter the Monarch Suite?
Did you find the ring on the floor on the right side of the right bed in the room in the corridor with the drunk guy?Well I thought I knew what room you were talking about, but the only other room in the hall with the drunk guy only has 1 bed and
there's a chest and jewelry box in there, but no ring. The room is actually around the corner from the drunk guy, in another hall. It's room 207.

From a technical standpoint this is almost equal to the other two jaw-droppers of late (
Broken Triad and
A Night In Roxburg)
But as someone who ghost levels with aplomb,
from a gameplay perspective I have to give this a zero out of ten. You end up forced to basically take out everyone you can take out to power your way through it, as there is little or no 'finesse' left in the game. The 'poisoned dagger' routine just seemed nowhere near as satisfying as the good old thunk on the head and WAY more awkward -
I guess that's the general impression I'm coming away with - EVERYTHING seems awkward... from the new hardware/items that aren't as intuitive and NOWHERE near as useful, to the absurdly open hallways
and absurdly cramped rooms, filled with clipping errors and 'getting stuck' galore.
Man, I can say you are VERY special  Also, sorry for saying this, but ANiR and MX are on different levels - this one is the professional quality in every aspect. Broken Triad in in the same league though. How is that streets in ANiR didn't seem absurdly cramped to you, but wholly natural and right proportions of everything in MX starting from courtyards and to closets did?

Played thru a second time and thoroughly enjoyed it. I noticed each time though that I could not get my water arrows or moss arrows to work, the bow would not come up at all. I could use my broadheads, vine and noisemakers just fine though. Do I need a different bow or something or is this a bug?

Bug. During testing I'd sometimes have a game where I had all arrows except water. I once still had the "you need to find a bow" screen message while notching a broadhead! Digi always hated the fact that found arrow/crystal equals must have bow. It's just been difficult to get Thief to cooperate with the new system.
