I just can't believe it... :nono:
I spent 1 hour playing with only one shield left, because I felt a little too high here and there, and expected to find one to save my life.
Don't feel bad - I found it and still completed the mission with only two shields left. This mission kicked my behind, and not in a good way :(
Your saying that it was too difficult holds alot of weight with me being that your missions are very well balanced between a good challenge and still alot of fun to play - So i'm glad I'm not the only one that had a hard time.
I think the overall skill level here is much higher than someone like me who doesn't have the extra time to sit around for hours memorizing guard patterns. :(

Save often. As infuriating as this FM can be, it's making some of us better thieves, myself included. I don't know if I will retain that ability though, as I don't play all the time. I'll go for months without playing at all, but I'm definitely keeping this FM, as well as a select few others. I should probably try my new skills on some of those FMs now and see how I do.
I'm on my 6th run, all on expert, and I find I'm not needing to heal at all anymore, except for when a ladder or vine gets an attitude, but I've usually saved just before those moments.

I'm glad you kept going after the initial disappointment and ended up enjoying it in the end. We actually thought alot more people wouldn't like the agents/team aspect, but we were either wrong or everyone else is keeping their mouth's shut! :D
Julie's Stool:
Has only one intended use - to help you get to the jewelery box on top of the cabinet in the foreman's bedroom. There may be other uses waiting to be discovered, though!
Milly Doll:
You can put her in her cradle, but that's it! I did it while I was trying to teach myself sources and receptrons, and didn't see any reason to remove it once I got it working.
There will be a total of 4 healing potions, after the patch, on Expert.

Save often.
No s*** Sherlock ! :laff:
I think I quicksave every 2 minutes or so, in every fm I play. But it's not the point, I think I never reloaded my savegame as many times in a fm before. If you show me one more time Sheam looking at the City map, I'm gonna throw up... :cheeky: ;)

Well that's normal, you start to know the mission ! When you discover it for the first time, it's not that simple... :erg:

Anyone can tell me if there is a walktrough for this mission? I just want to enjoy the architecture, the new objects and new ai skins, i don´t have patiente to play splintercell gamestyle, with all those boring rules, don´t set the alarms, don´t let yourself be seen or you might scare any noble, don´t touch them or they might get a disease, don´t flart or they may get intoxicate, bla bla bla...no no no, nothing of that i just want to be a guest and explore the casino:D , without having the team´s voice botherig me to progress:p ...so any walkrough avaliable for this mission?:)

Not yet, but you know you could play it through DromEd and just turn the AI off.:cheeky:

I hate to be "forced" to ghost a mission.
Your not being forced to ghost, though I half agree with you by saying it comes dangerously close if this makes any sense... (Since you have a Sap instead of a blackjack, and the hard to use dagger.)

Furthermore, the team irritated me. As soon as you have the mask they keep harrassing you, I must do the mission or someone will die, when I try to explore a little someone says I'm too slow or that he keeps going further, I have to be fast or they won't be able to continue, blah blah... It was a real source of stress and frustration for me.
No offense, but in the defense of the CoSaS team, it
is a team based story; it even says in the credits it was inspired by Mission Impossible.
Though I can see how it can be irratating... Especially if you have to constantly reload.:o

Found 7625 in loot
My god, nicely done... But then, you were probably
looking for loot. I just picked it up as I came across it.:o And I didn't get much at all.

On expert level I managed to find 1 healing potion
Oh, there
is a health potion? Hmph. If I woulda come across that, I wouldn't have had to reload the couple times I fell and got hurt.:)

Cool, does that mean in inventory on load, or do we have to hunt for them?

Finally finished this game with all objectives done. Even Rubber's errands. 3 hrs 44min, $7590 of $8385; and just 1 damage taken.
Maybe this hint has been asked before, but I didn't read all 400+ comments. In the money exchange room there is a combination safe on the right side of the money shelves. I cannot find anything about the combination.
Also, when I returned the scroll case to the table by the Monarch Room nothing happened? I waited 2-3 min.
Spoil me with a hint, please...:sly:

Yes. It will be released with the patch along with the lootlist.

But then I checked this thread and saw there was no time limit, so I decided to do it my way and didn't pay attention to the rest of the team...
I took the time to explore, appreciate the beauty of the place, gather some keys here and there, pay attention to the outstanding details in the design of the mission. I had some nice thiefy moments I didn't have for a while in a fm, especially when the agents ran away from the ivory rose, finally quiet, finally "alone" in the building.
Freedom of playing style was a big goal for Mission X. That is why there is not a "no kill" or loot objective. You are free to do as little or as much as you want. In that, I think MX is very successful. If you stop fighting the mission and take your time with it, you get a much more fulfilling experience. :thumb:
I'm am happy that you ended up liking it! :D
Check
the Pine Lounge for a health potion.
Cashier's Cage safe combo hint:
Check Cyrano's Office (the Guard Captain)
