There's three endings. The ending is the conversation the agents have when you've left the casino and signaled to the others that you're done. There's an "Eh" ending, a "Medium" one, and a "Best" one, depending on how many bonus and optional objectives you completed - and if you were faster than Steel. I don't remember if I've already told the requirements for the Best ending, but they will be in the walkthrough. You'll know the Best ending when you hear it.
Moreover...
There's actually two parts to the best ending. One plays at the very end, and one at the end of the "plot" when you've finished the last required objective (not counting Rubber's Chores). It's possible to get one without the other. I wouldn't call Mission X "finished" until you've gotten both!

I see, thanks for the explanation. Not sure which one it'd be, but the ending I got was the one where Dante tells Sheam his "story"

That's the cutscene. You get that even with the Eh ending. :)
What I am talking about happens inside the mission.

oh, sorry!:o
Slaps self in face. :nono: I can be idiotic sometimes. You said their conversation and now it makes perfect sense. Still though, I'm not sure which ending I got. Most likely "eh" or "medium"

242: My question is simple, in case you didn't understand it.
When I place the scroll case on the table by the Monarch room, someone is supposed to come out of the room and pick it up and I am to follow him to see what happens.
Since I didn't receive that response from the AI, I'm puzzled as to why this didn't take place. Is it a bug? Did I do things out of order?
I was just giving feedback on things I encountered for my clarification and to let the CoSaS Team know in case there was a problem. Dawggonit!

Dawggon, did you knockout or kill the guard in red?
Dawggon on 21/8/2008 at 16:58
Digi...I probably did. That would explain the "no response".
Thanks.

I finaly finished a run through doing the camera objective. I was rel impressed with this mission. Great work! Now I am off to do the fuse objective and to figure out the ending thing. So when does the walkthru come out?

Wanted to say a big thanks to the team that made this FM. Reminded me of the good 'ol days when we us... sorry, forget that. Anyway, the complexity of the mission is amazing and I liked how I felt like part of team (loved the mask too).
I did the mission a few times shutting off power to the elevator with no problems. I then decided it was time to try the other sub-mission of disabling security. I know where all the vents are already and I figured it would be easy. Well, I can't open ANY of the vents. I got the key to the vents fine and I can hear the Caclick which indicates it unlocks (and the CLICK to indicate I lock it if I click it again). What I can't do is open ANY of the vents. All I get is a CHACHUNK sound over and over again. I tested: vent over ladder in blown fuse storage room, one in men's bathroom, one in locker in bathing room, one behind bartender, one opened by lever in captain of guard room, one at other end of captain of guard room vent... hmm, I think maybe a couple others too (oh yeah, one above rafters in Mahogany Hall). I couldn't reach some because they are on the ceiling. Anyway, is this by plan? Did I miss something? Just reload/restart again? (I restarted a couple times in case there was a script error in my mission or something.
