I'd been thinking about CoSaS recently, great to see the new release!

Plenty of people talk about the cube thing, but I find that playing the version without the movies works fine.
No idea why.

I installed Thief 2 again and finished MX... It is happening again. I am enjoying Thief! :) Thank you, CoSaS Team!
I am really impressed with this FM. And scripting... just WOW! Great job!
Please, do not make us wait another eight years for mission number 3.

If you mean the
one that goes to the private courtyard, with a window to Stormclouds Office, then yes

It is exactly the right size. Yet the one in the link seems to be modified one hour before the one I got. (1 pm not 2 pm)
I have noticed such things a lot. I think it's because here in Germany, we have Greenwich Meridian Time (GMT) plus one or sometimes two hours. Depending on what program downloads, unpacks or installs these files, their timestamps may be altered by a number of hours.
If you are still unsure, download the "right" file (there's a link somewhere among all the postings in this thread) and compare it (with a file compare program, like
fc in case of Windows 98) to the one in your game directory. If both are identical, then it's OK.

Now, to play the damn thing.
THANKS for posting the solution!
Me too i solved with this patch, otherwise it was
impossible to play (i was superlagged)
I add some keywords for others to find this useful solution:
lagging lag no frames low fps lagged performance x2 issue ati nvidia :thumb:
Anyway i started now playing mission (before i was with only 6 fps, impossible to play with my ATI HD 2600 pro) and i want to make my compliments to the authors for the incredible work!
Now it's time to play the whole mission!
I'm X for the next days :-D

First off, COSAS team, WELL DONE!!!:thumb:
I am a bit at a loss though in deciding which door to mark as Cloud's mistress. I am trying to lean into the doors in order to hear the "loud" grandfather clock, but as yet haven't heard it. I did enter one of the rooms on the list (209), the sleeping lady resembled the picture & sketch, and if I got close enough, I could hear the g'father clock in the corner of her room, but it didn't seem to be overly loud. Is this her?
