That's happened to me before in FMs, though I never experienced it in Mission X. It's just one of those general bugs parvalent in Thief.

In a nutshell, the patch is now "beta 2" and anyone who wants to give it a try is welcome to, if they contact me and request. This is not a release, but a semi-open beta test. There are still a few problems we hope to fix.

I must say, I am very very disappointed. . . . because I finished playing it and now it's over!! :(

Two VERY big thumbs up to Digital Nightfall and team--it's clear that a lots and lots of time and effort went into creating this and even though I've played it twice, there are still some secrets I've yet to figure out. It was pretty damn amazing! Keep up the good work and I can't wait for the next mission! :thumb:

I'd love to do some briefing art for that one as well if you'll have my talents again!

Am I the only poor soul who can't get into this friggin room? I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've looked for the key just about everywhere (obviously not in the right place though)!! Sheam keeps asking me if I need help and I have no mask to ask for help with. Could someone please help? I've been trying this off and on for 3 days now and am just about ready to say f* it and play something else. But I love this game and am not quite ready to give up just yet. Thanks to anyone who can lead me in the right direction. I don't normally have this much difficulty playing or have to ask for help.:confused:

Oh, I'm playing on expert cause the other ones looked impossible.

This mission simply refuses to work for me. After it refused to work the first time, I uninstalled Thief 2, reinstalled it, patched it, installed Darkloader 4.3, installed Mission X nomovies, then I installed ddfix, and widescreen resolution fix (all in that order, and did absolutely nothing else) and it still won't get past the black box when I start the mission.

Edit: Can someone post a list of all the scripts I would need to manually copy? I've tried copying what I thought was all of them, all of the scripts found in the base folder in the zip file, but it still isn't working.
