They are aware of the black box.. But you know, maybe they could release a patch just for the black box for taffers having issues just like you.

Finally got round to playing this. Ghosted it first time on Professional, and wish I had done Impossible. Naturally, I used the quicksave quite a bit. I will ghost it on Impossible next.
I agree with many of the positive comments that have already been said. Completely gorgeous scenery and I particularly liked the communication and team aspects, as well as the notes, etc. The bells and whistles are fantastic. Clearly this took a hell of a lot of work.
That said, I'm a bit disappointed in the mission and story as a player. [spoiler]Many of us here have been playing Thief for a decade, and in many appearances as Garrett, we've had to take on more challenging and rewarding missions than this. I mean, I cut the power without too much trouble, but you know what really caused me trouble? Finding the dang soap.
(Rubber's chore list should have been put into your inventory, rather than staying in the closet.)
After finishing the chores, I exited the building expecting something to suddenly go wrong with someone else on the team, necessitating my going back in to save the day in extremely complicated fashion. I was disappointed when that didn't happen.

It appears in your notes (i.e. the much-extended map screen). Otherwise, thanks for the comments. :)

Not quite. The required tasks are in the map-notes, yes, but the readable slip of paper that tells you where to find the f-ing soap and the red suit, etc., stays in the closet.

I think I'll try again on the next level up in a few days

Ooooh, wow! I only just noticed this has been released. Time to dust off my old T2 discs and get thieving again. I can't wait to see how I look as Agent Rubber :) .

Mega THANKS and thumbs up and everything else to the CoSaS team. I love you people. :thumb:
High points for me:
* The entire first playthrough! I had to move away from the computer twice and just walk around in my apartment with sheer joy and sort of simply 'take in' what I have just experienced, think about my next move, etc.
* The
crawlspace map. My saviour early on so I could find my way to access points that were not so heavily guarded.
* The conversation after
returning Cloud´s key to the place Steel said he´d put it.* The map. Beautiful and amazingly useful.
* The architecture. I am a sucker for overdoses of "posh" and luxury. All those gorgeous suites floored me.
* Entering as a nobleman-gambler, seeing that
gas arrow in the Ivory Hall when I listened to the conversation (and had nothing better to do than to look around), then finding a way to retrieve it 6 hours later...
* Getting very lucky early on. I entered the wrong room on the second floor
(wanted the enter the utilities room but happened to take the next door - and very conveniently found a bow!) Getting frustrated for not finding the vent key. Checking the map again - and slapping myself when I realized what I´ve been doing!* Actually manage to perform my initial task.
I had not found the note about synching up the 'Builder´s eyes' nor found the buttons for that, so I hid in the semi-dark control room corner and did my things with the number pad in 4 'action burst', about 1.8 seconds each...* Entering the money exchange booth using
the gong and a speed potion, rushing over and grabbing the door before it closed. Diane got spooked but soon came back. I was outside in the shadows and watched her enter, then leave. I followed her and could see she took up a patrol route on the 3rd floor. That´s how I think it is Diane, because her patrol route included the theatre and Diane was supposed to be Miss Liselle´s assistantQuote Posted by 242

Wow! Amazing achievement! Here I am, poking around after 10 hours and 15 mintues (about half of that is combing every cubic inch of the mission I could think of for loot), and I miss exactly
500 more than you do. How the heck is that possible? :p There is no place I know exists that I have not been to. I have managed to open every room and locked container I have encountered, I am quite sure I have all the loot pieces mentioned in this thread. Any ideas what I could have missed since it´s so much?
BTW, I read something about there being more
gas arrows in the mission. I have only found one more than the one I mentioned earlier - in
the freezer in the kitchen. Can I get some hints about where the others are? This is for the easiest difficulty.
Oh, one more thing: is it possble to get up on the roof of the whole place? Several 'crawlspace shafts' can be opened at the top, but I have not managed to get up yet. Is it possible?

No. Originally, those shafts were to provide cooling to the building, until we realised that it was the middle of winter, and cooling would not be required. So, we decided that they served a dual purpose. They're central heating in the winter, so the doors at the top close then, so the heat doesn't get out. You can't get up there. They're decoration only.

Simon says, "Fetch the Lady a bar of soap. That's a good lad."
Simon says, "Deliver the Red Suit to Lord St. Claus."
:p
Have fun, Ibsen's Ghost. And yeah, great job!
So do we have AIs that wear glasses these days?
